My husband and I were visiting Boston for the first time for our 20-year wedding anniversary. We arrived the day before our booked running tour. We almost took the Trolley tour… but so so happy we waited. We learned so much more with our running guide Brian. And we got to ask all the questions we wanted. Learning history, along with local hotspots. We would do it again ~

This was a great way to spend a free afternoon during my business trip. I could run off the jetlag while learning and seeing some nice things of Boston.

Was in town for sub-48 hours so tried to maximize the "Boston" experience. Nice to have a customized tour. My guide stuck to my pace and was very knowledgeable. The run was personalized, casual, and conversational. Nice to add Boston to my list of "running tour" cities! Also really enjoyed started at the Boston Marathon finish line!!!

My boyfriend and I had a great time running through Boston with Brian. We enjoyed learning about the city's history and hitting sites along the Freedom Trail, as well as finishing the run with a beer at Harpoon Brewery.

I set this tour up for my cross country running son who is considering moving to Boston for college. I believe this was one of their first tours since Covid started. Brian organized the run after talking with me and learning what my son might be interested in seeing. Everything was well organized, they wore masks, Brian sent fantastic photos, and, most importantly, my son had a great time. It was a highlight of his Boston college tour. Thank you so much. And thanks for putting yourself in one of the photos so I could see who he ran with!! (I had to stay home and my husband took him to Boston).

Best way to really get to see and feel the city. I am from the area, and Brian took me to places that I walk by every day, but never understood the significance of. He did a great job of tailoring the tour to our group- asking us what we were interested in. This make the tour feel unique and fun. He really is excellent at showing us the city- he knows the roads like the back of his hand. Overall it was an excellent experience learned a lot of fun history while getting a sweat in. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I've visited Boston many times, but never had a chance to learn about its history so, since I enjoy running, I decided to sign up for this tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about the city's history and getting a few miles in. The group was fairly small (it was near the end of November, but it was sunny and cool). Our guide, Brian, couldn't have been better as he took us all over the city, from the Seaport District to Boston Common, the North End and back, stopping to explain some of the sites and their history (including some wonderful cemeteries). I learned a lot on the tour about places I had just walked by before. The pace itself was comfortable, and Brian was excellent at checking to see how we were doing and making sure we were safe on the busy streets of Boston. The route ended with a great tour of Harpoon Brewery (and yes, there was plenty of sampling to take advandage of!) I really can't recommend it highly enough, whether you're from out of town or a local who wants to learn a little more about the city.

Extremely rewarding and Fun
We are an active couple but this is an extremely fun way to spend a morning.
Meeting and ending at the Harpoon Brewery the 10K the run was fun and not very challenging (although Brian will adjust the pace if needed). Brian provided an awesome mix of modern and historical facts about Boston as we ran through the North End, Government Center, Seaport, downtown and a multitude of other historical spots. Along the way Brian provided restaurant/event/tour recommendations had great jokes and was very polite. The run was safe and easily accomplished. As an active couple we felt great after the run and learned a lot!
Even though I tried to take notes during the Run, Brian even still provided a follow up email with pictures of us, food recommendations and even his Limoncello recipe. At the conclusion of the run we ended at Harpoon and were provided an amazing tour by the staff there with lots of free beer! Ending at Harpoon we were able to have a few more drinks, pretzels and lunch later at a local spot.
I will likely do this run again and highly recommend it for younger or older couples, friends and active families.

I signed up for this tour with a few college buddies. We figured it combined a few of our favorite things: running, Boston, and beer. The running tour was an excellent way to see the city while still burning calories. Brian was extremely nice and gave a great tour! Harpoon Brewery at the end was definitely the icing on the cake! 10/10 would recommend.
