My friend and I visited New York in 2018 and I must say the highlight that we still talk about was the Hidden NYC Foodie Tour provided by Matt. For some reason the other folks scheduled didn't show so we had Matt to ourselves. It was fabulous, but we definitely should not have eaten at all that day prior. The food on the tour was spectacular and there was a lot of it! we truly enjoyed the different venues, in particular the Russian restaurant - something I had never experienced. Thanks Matt!

I highly recommend the Hidden NYC Foodies Tour! Matt is so passionate about this part of the city and it felt like we were getting in on all the “secrets” of the city! The history was fascinating and the local food and drink delicious! We found ourselves back at some of our favorite spots along the way for a second round! Thanks for a great night out Matt!

Friends and I met in NYC and enjoyed a great tour of the Flat Iron/Chelsea District with Matt as our food and history guide. We had a great time learning about these areas and enjoyed unique dining spots in NYC that only the locals know, Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our food tour with Matt. He displays a deep knowledge of the history and selected food stops that are unique and delicious. He is passionate about the experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! The food and drink were so good we returned to two of the stops for more during our stay!

A fantastic time was had on Matt's awesome food tour. Our group of seven from NJ thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - we learned some cool facts about the history and architecture of NYC, and, more importantly, we stuffed ourselves silly with delicious eats. Definitely recommend!

This was an amazing tour. The history and information shared about the Flatiron are was well rounded and very interesting. Matt was personable and courteous. He was great to connect with him on a personal level as well! The food stops were under the radar, but they became immediate favorites of ours. All in all this was a great experience, worth the time and money and we will definitely tour with Matt again.

My husband and I enjoy taking walking tours in different cities, especially food tours and after reading all the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor I decided to book Matt's tour for our weekend in NYC and I am so glad I did. He was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, articulate and we could tell he was sincere in his desire to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. We would never have found one of the establishments he took us to, it is hidden in plain sight. We cannot wait to go back to visit the restaurants for a full meal on our next trip to NYC. Do not hesitate to book this foodie tour, it is one of the best ones we have ever taken. Matt will not disappoint!

We had an awesome tourtoday with Matt. Although there were only a few people in our group he made the trip extra special. The tour was the perfect number of stops (4) with plenty of time to enjoy the experience, speak with the shopkeepers and learn quite a bit of history. A great way tut o lean more about NYC and we recommend it highly.

This is a great tour of Chelsea with lots of information about the origin of the area paired with great food. It is more of a progressive dinner than a regular food tour. The tour is limited to six people who can gather around a table and chat while having a meal. We started with a visit to a small chocoate shop for tasting, then a sit down meal at a Russian restaurant. That was followed by an olive oil tasting and a pasta meal at an Italian restaurant. All were great. Matt did a wonderful job of providing us a history of Chelsea an took us through its evolution as a neighborhood. We loved chatting with the other couples an learning their stories and experiences while sitting around the tables like a family. Thank you Matt for a great evening.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a food tour with Hidden NYC. Matt was a great guide who sincerely enjoyed providing us with the best possible experience. The tour was unique in that not only did we get to try great food but also had an opportunity to learn the history of the Flatiron District along the way. We really enjoyed this and it certainly added to the overall experience. While I won’t give away the details of the restaurants we visited (the surprises were half the fun), I will say that they were carefully chosen for their unique qualities, the stories behind them and of course, great food and drink. This was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in NYC.
