Flawless walking tour of revolutionary NYC

Bruce was everything you could want in a walking tour guide. Informative (but not too informative - all stories were well curated), constantly entertaining, the 3.5 hour tour just flew by. I took the tour with my 9 year old son who loves revolutionary war history and we were both transfixed the whole time. We live in Brooklyn and travel all over the world. We’ve done walking tours in many cities (eg Paris, London) and Bruce ranks up there with the best of them. Well worth it.

My partner and I really enjoyed our time on this tour. Bruce is very friendly and made us feel at ease. A good blend of historical information and sightseeing. An all round great experience.

This was my favorite tour in New York City. As someone who loves learning about history, I really appreciated how knowledgable Bruce was and was even more impressed by his delivery. I learned about many things I had no idea were part of the history of such an iconic landmark as Central Park. It's always great to do it alongside someone who is so passionate as Bruce and cares so much about everyones understanding of the material he delivers. Looking forward to attending a few more of his tours. 10/10

Fantastic Tour of Washington and Hamilton’s New York!

The best part of this tour was our tour guide, Bruce Racond! His passion for history, his vast knowledge and his storytelling skill made the three hour tour fly by! It was a cool day and Bruce thoughtfully brought us indoors for part of the tour, kept us in the sun if possible and and gave us a mid-tour break. He worked his magic to keep us engaged and interested by very capably weaving the historical landmarks, cast of characters and important action into memorable tales of our country’s founding fathers and their exploits!! I highly recommend this tour and give Bruce a perfect score!!!

Bruce brings history to life!

Like Lin-Manuel Miranda’s play, this tour teaches and entertains in equal measure. Bruce guides the tour, and his love for American history and New York come through in the design of the day.

I highly recommend this tour, it’s the perfect afternoon adventure in lower Manhattan.

Who Knew ????

First timer to NY from Chicago and I wanted an in depth walking tour of at least one of the boroughs (I was only in NY for 4 days). This tour did not disappoint. Very interesting history of the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn itself (who knew bridges could be so fascinating...LOL). Great pic opportunities during the tour. The 3 hours went by quickly and due to the group's small size, you could hear everything our guide, Bruce, was saying and encouraged questions. Bruce was knowledgeable, interesting and passionate about his native NY. When I come back to NYC, I will definitely take their Central Park tour.

Fabulous Brooklyn Revolution Tour

This is our third tour with Bruce. It was as good as any of the previous two tours. We have a great City to share... but Bruce makes it special. He brings great pictures to share and his knowledge of the subject is second to none. You can see and feel Bruce's passion about the areas we are exploring. And at the conclusion his informative email about what we saw is really terrific.. just in case you wanted to dig deeper into a subject area.

I would not hesitate to take a tour with Bruce and his company and we will be looking to take others with him. It is well worth it!

Great tour, great value

We had the best time. My husband and I took our 10 year daughter on the Washington and Hamilton tour. We all had so much fun while learned so much about the revolution. I never really knew how important NYC and the surrounding cities were to the American revolution. Bruce is incredibly knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. I feel like the tour could have gone on another 3 hours with how much he knew.
