I'm a local New Yorker of 27 years and regular hardcore cyclists, training and completing in International triathlons for past 13 years. I was passing through the UWS on one of my "get-around-town-bikes," hoping to snag some air for my tires. But I reached Master Bike Shop on W 72nd and West End Ave just as the owner was locking the front door. Without flinching, Imbert invited me in, took care of my bike and even pointed out a little maintenance that needed to be done. Although I only wanted air, he insisted on quickly correcting some alignment issues and refused to take any money from me. I wasn't surprised, really. As he was fixing the bike, I scanned the whole place: immaculate, well organized, great selection of bikes and products. This was clearly a top rated shop with an owner who has mastered the art of running a business through excellence. I'll make it a point to return here. Go check it out for yourself. First rate all around.

During this crisis my daughter and I were looking for bikes for exercise and transportation. I emailed Master Bike and told them what we were looking for. They said to come on over and they would have what we were looking for. They allow only 4 people in the store at a time. Within 15 minutes we had 2 awesome bikes with baskets and bells and of course helmets. The price was beyond great and they were super nice. If you need a bike this is the place to go!!! They also rent bikes. When i have visitors in town I always send them to Master Bike for the best bike rental around. And they are close to Riverside Park if you are looking for a place to ride!

A pro-shop for pros and non-pros with fast service, wise advice, a neighborhood vibe, and deep experience in bike mechanics that shows most when you bring them your favorite bike that wasn't line manufactured. A rare find!

Great location for driving down Central Park and Riverside. Bicycles were in excellent condition. Imbert and his guys were cozy, they even rented me LOOK pedals for free. Rental of road bikes is possible.

We rented bikes for a day and they were fantastic. Smooth shifting, comfortable and everything worked. These bikes are obviously carefully maintained and only $30/day.

4h pour $20 (ajoutez $5 pour un antivol si vous souhaitez pouvoir poser le vélo de temps en temps), un vélo parfaitement réglé pour une balade sans effort dans Central Park et l'Upper West Side et un accueil chaleureux.

My name is Felipe, im from Brazil and i will go to nyc on first week of octuber.
I saw in the website the trade-ins.
I have one specialized diverge a1 sport, very new, i bought in rome last month but i would like to change for road bike with 105 i think so.
Do you have any idea about the price to trade in this bike? And witch models do you have with 11v (could be shimano 105, sram..)? My size is 54 in specialized.
