This show is hysterical! Alli and Jen manage to find really obscure, funny internet items and turn them into even funnier skits. It's a great night out with different sketches every time you go - highly recommend it!!

Blogologues is one of my go-to spots when I'm looking for a fun and funny night out! Each time I go it's a totally different show with hilarious and different skits. You'll def have a great time if you check it out!

If you’re in New York when Blogologues is on stage, do … not … miss … it! It’s the brilliant and uproarious creation of two Yale graduates -- Jen Jamula and Allison Goldberg -- who mine the Internet for it’s strangest compositions and re-imagine it as theatre. They don’t change a word of what they find, and, with the permission of the authors, create characters, scenarios, and new contexts (sometimes adding music and choreography) to bring to life the insane and screamingly funny material. Sketches can be as short as one line or as long as short play, and sometimes the show is themed (I’ve seen shows themed on Elections, Halloween, Sex -- there’s always sex -- or sometimes it’s a mixed topic bag), but always magnificently performed and guaranteed hilarious. Each show usually runs one hour. Shows are performed at The Pit at 123 East 24th Street in Manhattan. The Pit has a bar and drinks are allowed in the theatre. Comedy and booze is a wonderful combination, so beware: if you have a weak bladder, you better wear Depends. You won’t get better entertainment anywhere, and you’ll be wondering what I’m wondering: how come Alli and Jen don’t have their own prime time network show?

Everything Alli Goldberg and Jen Jamula-the creators of Blogologues-do is pure comedy gold. These ladies make my laugh so much my face hurts. They pack the seats at every Blogologues show for good reason; the skits are hilarious and the acting is excellent. If you’re looking for a fun night out, go to this show! You won’t regret it; chances are you’ll be back for more.

Are you tired of the disintermediation produced by all screens we encounter on a daily basis? Or amused by it? Either way, this show is a hilarious examination of how the internet and social media have eroded the quality of human interactions, while at the same time making them infinitely more ridiculous. DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT!!!

Always HILARIOUS and original, Blogologues never fails to make me cry with laughter!! Truly, one of the funniest live shows I have ever seen. This company of incredible actors has made one of the most irreverent, creative, hilariously inappropriate live comedy shows taken from real, found text from the weird world of the Internet and contextualized it to create their own back stories. It's simply genius. Alison Goldberg and Jen Jamula are the smart, creative brains behind this crew and they never fail to give their audience the best of the best of the interwebs. These folks are fearless and the show is ever changing. Talent for days, these peeps act, sing (there was an opera aria sung about poop that was AMAZING), dance, and even twerk. ;) Using themes, they have a new show every few months, so it's always fresh. I've seen at least 5-6 different shows and they all leave me in stitches! Take your friend, your partner, anyone with a sense of humor and is unafraid of audience participation. You will wonder where they've been your whole life and why they don't have their own TV show!! GO NOW!!

This fresh, hilarious, and eccentric idea of performing the Internet on stage is so much fun! I saw the Blogologues Sex show with a friend on a day trip to NYC and left laughing wanting more. I returned later with a group of girlfriends to see the Nostalgia Show and we had the best laughs at the content and all the performances! The fun is in wondering how far the performers will go with their interpretations and then witnessing the brilliance in the outcome. Side splitting funny! Cheap and easy to find in the city! As an out of towner, I highly recommend any of the Blogologue shows. You will be talking and laughing about it during your travels home!

I stumbled upon this show during my first trip to New York three years ago and I am so glad I went.
Some of the stories they have found are so incredible, I literally fell off my chair but the best part of it all is that the way its presented. The blogologue team really put a performance like nothing I have ever seen before and I have seen alot of shows.
I have now been to three shows and make it part of every trip to New York...

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We've had young people around the same age in the audience before who have not been phased by the material, but - since we are performing the internet - the show includes expletives and can be of a sexual nature. The tone is definitively "adult," but we think appropriateness for young people is really dependent on the particular young people. Hope you can see the show!
