Expérience mitigée dans cet ensemble de magasins, qui ne sont plus hébergés d'ailleurs dans le "Time Warner Center", mais dans le "Deutsche Bank Center", le nom ayant changé. Un peu le problème déjà rencontré partout ailleurs: les enseignes sont les mêmes, l'originalité est autre part, l'expérience se banalise. Les restaurants, eux, restent intéressants (mais bigrement chers).

Stopped in to cool off after visiting Central Park. We discovered the BEST cafe, whose name I sadly have lost. They served the best iced tea, good and dark!! The lunch sandwiches were extremely flavorful and filling. This place will be on my list for a return visit.

Lugar regular, pocas tiendas, gente amable pero no es atractivo el mall.
Hay una sola tiende excepcional y es para niños, esta muy entre el segundo y tercer piso, inconfundible.

Located on the 4th floor of 10 Columbus Circle (THE TRUE CENTER, OF THE CENTER, OF THE UNIVERSE) is a wonderful steakhouse. The warm and continually attentive hosts accommodatingly greet you, and you are escorted to the spectacular dining room, with fantastic NYC views as your back drop. The ambiance is so upscale, so beautiful, and more elegant than most NYC steakhouses. The service is very good and very attentive. The food is also very good. The crab cake and Caesar salad were tasty. The steak and salmon were incredibly good and cooked exactly as requested. The NY strip steak was so flavorful and done perfectly medium. The salmon (ordered well done, and prepared well done, without argument) was also very good. The onion rings were toasty, crispy, deliciousness on a plate, and the sautéed spinach was also prepared so well. The cocktail and wine lists are extensive.
As satisfied as you are after your delicious meal (and you will be too, too full, you think, to order dessert) ORDER DESSERT. The coconut cake is worth every calorie, with its airy, yet moist, cake and scrumptious, but not too sweet, dense and creamy coconut frosting.
Porterhouse is a restaurant that is perfect for an important business meeting or special occasion as it provides an upscale, truly enjoyable experience. The very good food, beautifully NYC centric atmosphere, and attentive service are delightful. You will eat like a Queen (and a Queen’s bank account is required, or, at least, a very generous expense account) at this top, TOP notch, NYC steakhouse.

Worth a quick stop

I made a quick stop at The Shops at Columbus Circle in December 2021. I enjoyed riding the escalators and stopped at the Amazon bookstore. You can get a good photo opportunity from the second floor while looking out the front window at Columbus Circle.

An air-conditioned indoor shopping mall

An oasis of cool on a hot New York day. High end (expensive) shops and a nice food venue called Tartinery (see separate review.) We stopped at the Amazon Books place. The is a Whole Foods on the lowest level. The location is good very close to Central Park at Columbus Circle. The biggest downside are the two ugly metal statues of naked fat people in the main lobby; not sure why those are there.
