Won several tickets to a variety of different venues at NYC Wine and Food festival, but honestly your lucky to get enough food to keep a bird alive. They cram soooo many people into these venues, its standing room/pier only . Stand in long lines to get into the event, then stand in another long line for one morsal of food, only to have to go stand in line again for another morsal, and before you've had a chance to even get to half of them, they are out of food. The few bites of food you did get were delicious. The walking tour event on Saturday was more booze booths than food booths- easily 2 to one. As much as I enjoy a good libation, I was hoping to enjoy more of the unique foods from local restaurants. A few chefs were happy and friendly enjoyed meeting you, but several of the big names you'd see on the food network station wouldn't give you the time of day. My husband and I joked that if you were going to get covid, this would be the place to get it, and unfortunately, we must have jinxed ourselves as my husband came down with covid a couple days after attending all 4 days of these crammed events. (having avoided it for almost 3 years) You were constantly face to face with people, trying to get in, out and through the lines. Covid cesspool. This was the first and last time we'd attend this event. Not worth it.

I had fun overall my first time attending one of the event the Burger Bash hosted by Rachel Ray. The food was great & the drinks too. The presenters and chiefs were friendly and explained their concept and details of the items serving. I had two tickets but due untortured turn of events, I had to attend solo. I made a new friends Chantal and Fred that regularly attend the events and are local NYC residents included me in the tour and tasting. Honestly New Yorkers are awesome and get a bad rap as a out towner you can make new friends anywhere. I was even interviewed by local news reporter from channel 12, while I bombed the interview they were great and friendly too even got a photo of with the reporter. Events like this support great cause from locals attending to outter towners try to support causes like this and attend events its worth it and fun to.

The Chefs Club, NYC

My wife and I really was looking forward to this charity event. Flew in from Tampa Florida. Event Opened right on time we were told our table number and given a tiny bit of rose wine. We were seated at table 5 and the other attendees at our table were all New Yorkers and great conversationalist. The first appetizer was a radish side cut filled with butter sauce and sea salt. A very strange companion with a Rose wine but then we were all out of wine by then. Maybe I misunderstood thinking it was a dinner and wine pairing. After 15/20 minutes we got up to return to the bar for a refill. A mob of attendees were near the kitchen and getting the appetizers... like an appetizer buffet. UGH... we didn’t get any… Our table didn’t get the Harissa Skate Wing, Sabich Tostdam or the Majadra Arancini. You might ask why the first “Radish” was delivered to the table but not the other appetizers… Oh well it’s charity.. We were treated to a different white wine but again an extremely small pour. (About 2 sips) and I question whether the selection was the correct choice if you thinking of flavors and pairing. Oh, well it’s charity. I’m not going to fault the chef because it is a charity event, but such awful coordination and serving staff of the establishment “Chefs Club”. This is the most amazing part.. They skipped our table on the main course! After all the tables around us were half finished with the main course a person at our table went up to see why we didn’t get served. The other tables had a platter of baked jeweled rice for the lamb Sabzi topping. We were served an incredible small serving of rice on an 8 inch plate probably because ours was given to another table and that’s what was leftover. Splitting it among our table resulted in each person getting a 2 inch square or less but accompanied with a large bowl of Lamb Sabzi. (too little rice and too much lamb) This time I went up to ask for more rice for the table. Ten minutes later, we received a single portion on the smallest plate possible. We all looked dumbfounded… another 1/2 inch for each of us. We laughed - but hey It’s charity… (Oh, as a side note the gentleman next to me was bumped by one of the servers spilling wine on his suit) The food might have been good if we had some. The 2 chefs were totally clueless on the incredible poor service. I only got one food photo to show. The desert which was not a great presentation on the plate. Really sad - but you hate to complain if it’s for charity. My wife was happy to meet the chef Amanda Freitag and get her photo taken. My wife is a big fan of hers on the Food Network. We did get a cook book which was nice but not signed. Oh Ya, Did I mention it was charity which makes writing this review so iffy. I’m baffled - Why these thing were over looked? It reflects poorly in my judgement. Unfortunately the staff made it as one of the worst events I’ve attended in 30 years.. Off again next month, November 9 2019 to Chicago for the Ronald McDonald charity event.. That event is always good. Thumbs down on the CHEFS CLUB.

So we were very disappointed by the Food & Wine Festival particularly with the food selection at the Grand Tasting event on 10-12-19. The food was prepared by vendors (mostly local grocery stores like ShopRite or Citarella's) and local restaurants. We went mainly for the cooking demos by the celebrity chefs which we loved. We tried to hit a few food booths before and in between the demos, but all the food we tasted was horrible. The pizza we tried was cold; the lobster gnocchi i tried was good but cold; Brazilian truffles were yummy; there was some rum chocolate cake which was horrid; my husband hated all the burgers and chips or fries. The food was definitely a let down. The gift bags were neat and had bruschetta crackers, green tea cookies, apple baby squeeze pouches, some cappacinos in a can, and a few other items. The demos were fantastic and loved the Food Network Chef citings.

The festival is decades old- food, music, artisan crafts and more. Little Italy streets are closed. People walk, talk, eat on the go or at sidewalk table, and more. I enjoyed as a child with my family and recently enjoyed with my 23 year old son. An easy way to pass a couple of hours enjoyed traditional Ametican Italian food. The sausage, peppers and onion sandwich are the signature food of the event!

每年6月在紐約時代廣場曼哈頓46街舉辦,除了遊客還有當地人上班族經過路過都會順便參上一腳,當天很熱鬧,但人也多到爆炸,真的要好好緊跟著同伴,當天的活動有很多酒可以品嘗,看過的沒看過的都有,覺得好喝的酒都可以買回家,還有很多配酒的零食可以享用,很不錯

ニューヨークで開催されていたワインのイベント。セレブがたしなみそうな高級なものもありました。有料の試飲はチケットを購入することで参加ができるシステムです。有料なので、きがねなく、いろんなワインのテイスティングができました。
