Pleasant temps among the trees, nice trail

We left from Cascade Falls parking lot and went towards Te Ah Campground. We met a few bikers and some back packers. It was fairly quiet, since it is a very long trail.

Mountain biking some of the trail from Strawberry Point was delightful.

I did a lot of research since I would be doing this trail by myself and not during top tourist season. That work was invaluable. I drove to the fork of Strawberry Point Road and Route 059 and parked the vehicle there. I road along Strawberry point Road to Strawberry point and then looked at the sights. On the way back, I chose the singletrack route and rode it back to the starting point. It really helped to have looked at the maps beforehand and also to have a GPS map available for when I got disoriented. I saw very few people, and really enjoyed that part of the experience. I returned to the parking spot by getting off the singletrack route and taking Forest Service Road 1912. It was a fun return trip.

The elevation is moderate to high and it's desert, so be prepared. To be honest, I rode this in September of 2016, but I'm not supposed to make a review that old. Since I don't see any other mountain biking reviews of this area, I hope this is both acceptable and helpful. Temps were comfortable in the shade and warm in the sunshine. The views looking down on Zion NP are really wonderful from anyplace along the rim.

Became somewhat confused hiking at Strawberry Point. Better to get a detailed map from the Ranger station at Cedar City. Never actually made it to the top. So sad.

Great place for a summer hiking trip. Pack a lunch & take a half day hiking trip...or as long as you wish 1 hour + is recommended.

Good place to mtn bike and hike

I have spent a lot of time on this trail between Navajo Lake and Webster Flat. It is not all that scenic. I was scouting a Bull Elk tag. I used my mtn bike a lot to access the area.
