I have been to Rittenhouse Square many times, most recently just last month. It truly is a lovely spot, a beautiful and peaceful park and it is right in the City Center. Shops and restaurants very nearby. A lovely area of Philly.

Ritttenhouse Square is a lovely park in the center of the city in the neighborhood called Rittenhouse Square. Perfect for a midday or early evening stroll. There is luxury housing that surrounds the square. A great place for some rest and quiet time.

Went there solo and had a very peaceful feeling when I was walking around it. It’s not to big and a great place to stay for a little rest. Perfect for a picnic or reading a book.

Rittenhouse is basically a large dog park and often overrun with people. It is cleaned up a few times a year and the grass turns green and the flowers bloom. But it is basically an unhealthy environment. Every summer after sitting in the park, for even a few minutes, shortly thereafter I find bulls-eye welts from no-see-um bites on my ankles and legs. There are usually a half dozen or more unwashed street people, leaving a stink in the air and stains on the wooden benches. Earlier this week as I was trying to enjoy lunch in the park I noticed a "street person" slumped on an opposite bench stir himself, lifting a shirt sleeve he revealed a syringe stuck in a bloody arm.

I took my driving test two times in June and I failed both times due to incorrect parking!! I also am in the car with my mom a lot and she says parallel parking is very stressful!! I just had a realization this review is not about parking but it’s about this park!! If that was a very stupid joke and I made your day worse that was not my intention!! Anyway I came here today because I was originally planning on staying in my dorm all day and watching stranger things to review for season 4 but my mom texted me saying she hopes I’m going out on this nice day!! I decided to go here and relax!! I enjoy nature and I think trees are very cool!! I like chilling in parks so this was a park and it was good to chill in!! Y’all should come here!!

Rittenhouse Square is one of the most peaceful areas in Center City. In some ways, it is more relaxing in the winter as there are very few people in the park. A wonderful place to walk after a meal!

Maybe the best neighborhood in Philadelphia; beautiful architecture, cool shops great restaurants. The square is a great place for a relaxing stroll, and has open air markets on some days.

Whether you walk through during the day, or better yet at night, Rittenhouse Square is a real part of Philadelphia. I love the lights, the people, the buskers, the energy.

Philadelphia's go-to spot for people watching. It's a gorgeous park surrounded by fine dining and luxury apartments. On the weekends, there's usually a farmers market, someone playing a violin and plenty of happy dogs out for a walk.
