Come hungry to eat and learn

This was a truly wonderful experience! I got this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and Chef Jacquie went above and beyond to make it special. The food was amazing, and we learned so much about history of Italian Market. I’d recommend this to both tourists and locals who consider themselves foodies!

Fun tour and great food.

Chef Jacquie is knowledgeable and friendly. I was leading a tour group and this was an add on to the trip. The group was varied and as was their questions and Chef Jacquie was so good to them. She helped them around and made sure she had treats at every stop no matter what the dietary need was. I highly recommend this tour! My only caution is to make sure you know this is not an indoor market. It was a lot of walking for some of the older members of our group.

A private chef led tour was the best choice for our friend's 40th bday. It was personalized and based on her favorites. We had the BEST time and felt so comfortable with Chef Jacquie! This would be great for families, friend groups, corporate team building events etc. Jacquie is relatable, knowledgeable, friendly and fun and adapts to your groups energy and food preferences. Highly recommend!

Fabulous time with Chef Jackie

We live locally but thought it would be fun to do a tour of the Italian Market and we were not disappointed. Jackie is knowledgeable, fun and well-connected in the neighborhood The tour was informative without being dull and the food stops were all delicious! Highly recommend whether you live in Philadelphia or are just visiting

Awesome Italian Market Tour with Chef Jacquie

My wife Samantha and I, along with another couple decided to take the daytime Italian Market Food tour on a Saturday in October. From the moment we arrived for our tour, Chef Jacquie made sure it was an incredible experience!! In every restaurant, bakery, kitchen, stand and store we went to, we enjoyed absolutely delicious food and top-notch service. Everyone along the tour at all the spots knew Jacquie and you could tell she is very much engrained into the community and history of this neighborhood. We felt like we were enjoying a walk around with our friend, all the while learning an incredible amount about the history of the neighborhood. The knowledge of the area, cultures, and history were what really stood out the most. Such a cool tour and would 110 % recommend Jacquie. Cannot wait to do another tour with her :)

Italian / Philadelphian heritage tour

I received this as a birthday gift from my wife, to do with our friends. Jacqui’s was great! She was funny, informative, and knowledgeable of the area and the history. The dinner was wonderful and would recommend doing this for couples or even a group of friends.

Great tour!

We had a great time! All of the food was amazing and we learned some interesting things about the history of the Italian market and how certain foods came to be. Our tour guide, Chef Jacquie, was very knowledgeable, interesting and friendly. This tour is highly recommended!

Italian Market tour with an Italian chef!

Great walking tour through the Italian market area! Chef Jacquie covered the history of the area and we tasted all kinds of great food, from mozzarella to cannoli to pizza, even coffee and tea. We had a few extra hours between landing at PHL and a wedding and this was a great way to have lunch and learn about Italian foods and history! Don’t hesitate to book with Jacquie, you will love it!

Amazing family experience

We did the Taste of the Italian Market tour with Chef Jacquie with our teen/early twenties children. We had an amazing time. We ate lunch at Santucci’s pizza then we sampled cannolis, cheese, pasta, tortillas, and coffee. It was all amazing!!! We live in South Jersey and it was so great to visit the Italian Market and hear the history. Chef Jacquie was a wonderful tour guide! Would highly recommend!!
