We walked around the mall while visiting the Liberty Bell, Independence Square & Hall and the other local attractions. Only negative was witnessing a knife attack while in line for the Liberty Bell but other than that, the weather was good and we had a great time here in the birthplace of our nation.

What a beautiful visit to our country’s history and beautiful grounds. The Rangers were especially helpful and very knowledgeable during their presentation. Be sure to get tickets ahead of time!

If you are in the mall, it is a short walk to most of the historical building in the area. A great place to relax, have a snack or drink, and prepare for the next location.

Excellent Attraction

We saw Independence Mall and the Hall of Congress. The Independence Hall required a timed ticket. I didn't know that. We were lucky enough to get a ticket from the Ranger that was stationed outside the hall. If you go, best to reserve online before coming here. Well worth it.

Independence Mall is a grassy area about 4 city blocks long that houses Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Independence Visitor Center, and the National Constitution Center. Various other museums and landmarks surround the grassy area. If you walk right through the middle of the Mall behind Liberty Bell Center, you can get some GREAT pictures of Independence Hall!
