This is a great, European-style beer hall with all-Belgian beers, on tap and in bottles. Afternoons and early evenings when I've visited it's a relaxed place, not too crowded. Bring your own food or get some from down the street.

Went to the Belgian Beer Hall with a group of friends. The male bartender was EXTREMELY rude. He reminded me of Brett Kavanaugh during the Supreme Court hearings. He refused to admit that he was being rude and was on the verge of kicking multiple girls out because he thought they were being too honest. The girl bartender was great but the man needs to be fired.

Great selection of Belgian beer that you can take outside on their porch area where there are porch swings. Shares the outdoor space with Bluebird above.

great atmosphere in this former redmans' hall.excellent selection wine as well as wonderful ever changing selection of Belgian brews.no natty boh here.the dj on sat night kept it fresh and funky.nice wood floor for dancing.best hook up spot on the avenue.

I love this place and have been coming here many times in the past year to get awesome Belgian beer with awesome service but apparently since people have been "breaking their glasses" during dance night they are now serving everything in red solo cups and if you request one of the 400 glasses they have behind the counter they refuse you. this sucks because I love to come here for the ambiance and the cool beers they serve in cool glasses- being served in red solo cups is reminiscent of college and not why I come to this spot. please change this ❌⭕❌⭕

The beer selection was tremendous. A huge menu of Belgian brews at decent prices. Bartender didn't know prices of items and had no computer to tell him, so manually calculated on paper from menu.
The atmosphere was nice, fairly loud but we could still maintain regular conversation.

This is a really chill bar with a great selection of Belgian beers. The bartenders are super knowledgeable and able to give great suggestions for those not familiar with the beers. As others have mentioned, this place doesn't serve food but you are more than welcome to bring food or have it delivered. They will also show the higher profile soccer matches (world cup, etc.) on a projection screen. I've been here several times and I will definitely be back.

De Kleine Duivel is a bar just off the main strip in Hampden. They specialize in Belgian beers, with several on draft and many more by the bottle. They don't sell food, alas, but apparently they don't mind if your bring it in (BYOF?) We were there on a busy Friday night during a charity event that was selling pizza slices to raise funds. There are many tables scattered throughout, but service seems only to be done at the bar. There is an extensive beer list (of course) but I just asked for something dark and malty for my wife. The attentive bartender offered me two samples from their drafts, and both were excellent so I ordered a glass of both. It would have been nice if the bartender said, "By the way, this one is 10%" before he blithely handed it to me, but it was delicious. While this bar could benefit from table service, and actual food, the only other real detriment is the dim lighting is kept so low it can be difficult reading the beer info scrawled on the chalkboard behind the bar. A great place to get your drink on, by design, but be careful what you order.

Maybe I should not be sharing the word on my favorite new spot. But if you are just passing through town you are welcome here for a spell. No, really, it is fantastic for beer lovers and others as well. I often have cocktails. No food yet but a few restaurants in the area will deliver here.
