Great pub, especially on match days for Liverpool FC. Everyone who works there is nice, and the crowd is usually not pretentious (unlike the bar 2 doors down...).

This place is friendly and low-key. It's a comfortable place to hang. There are TVs with sports (soccer, when there are games to watch), good music, delicious Dub pies (from Windsor Terrace), authentic English crisps and pinball! There is a nice garden in the back with a grill that I can imagine they might put to good use when the weather warms up. And if you want to eat something other than the reasonably priced pies, you are welcome to bring in food from elsewhere.

Popped in here on a recommendation from our daughter who lives in Brooklyn. Great stuff ! Barman from Liverpool, jukebox with some great tunes and generally a grand atmosphere.
