Half of the challenge of the Aztec room is that it is so dark you can’t see the clues clearly. It made it more frustrating than fun. The woman who ran our room seemed to only be interested in telling us all the ways they we’re going to penalize us if we didn’t follow their rules. I guess they get a lot of bad behavior in the room, but it was off putting to start off being scolded for things we hadn’t done.

When buying the tickets, no where did it say that you had to show up 15 minutes early or else they don’t let you in. Got there 5 minutes before our scheduled time and was told to reschedule to 4 hours later without refund, despite that we lived an hour away and could not reschedule to a different date as we were not from Gatlinberg. The employees offered very little help in rescheduling or in offering alternative solutions. The clues in the escape room were near impossible to read as it was extremely dark and they forgot to give us lamps.

Me and my friends play Escape games all the time we played at this establishment last year and it was amazing we played today and they were unfriendly they were unhelpful when you asked questions after it was over they got a base we just said I can’t answer them and ask us to leave. We tried to go into the game before time and play an extra one and they told us that since there would only be a 15 minute window they couldn’t guarantee the start of our next game.

We arrived 5 mins before our game time we had filled out what serves as waivers for every other escape game we had done. When we walked in the lobby has changed in a drastic way! This is where we did our very first escape room and we loved it we have sent many people here, but walking in was not the same, there is now a pinball museum in the old lobby area kinda interesting but also a sensory overload blinking lights and sounds etc. But we walked up and said we were there for our game and we were told it was too late we couldn’t play our game because we weren’t 15 mins early...at first she said no refunds and we would have to come back and play tomorrow. We couldn’t we were leaving town she proceeded to argue with us until finally she said she would contact her manager, we realized that games run on a schedule and we were willing to forfeit the 5 mins if needed to fill out forms but that was not excepted. Eventually we were given a refund but the entire experience, was very upsetting!

I’ve done almost 70 escape rooms and tonight my family and I did Merlin’s Secret Chamber. We’re pretty certain the room was half broken- either that or there were many MANY red herrings. For example, there were ropes in the first room that looked important, but ended up not doing anything. We still escaped with 26 minutes remaining, and given that this was a 45 minute room, we were quite disappointed to have paid almost $200 to finish in just over half of the time. We honestly may have even finished about 10 minutes later if our guide didn’t WALK US THROUGH THE ENTIRE ROOM! He even told us the answer to the final puzzle even though we had 26 minutes left! We had also actually done the final puzzle right a couple of times before, but once we did it the final time reading the answer off of the TV, the TV rang again to say “congrats! you saved the princess.” No music. magical effects, or anything. What kind of ending is that!? This room clearly had some broken components, but they piled 8 people into this room anyway. I also HATE not even having the time to solve any of the puzzles because the TV in the room keeps chiming to give you another answer. Do not spend your time and money here. There are plenty of better options in Pigeon Forge that are certainly worth the short drive.

This escape room was pretty fun and just challenging enough to make it difficult but doable for two people. Most escape games give you an hour whereas this place gives you 45 minutes but we didn't need the full time as we scaped with 9:30 to spare. Definitely would do it again

We had fun in the Aztec Temple game , but it needs quite a few repairs/updates. It’s pretty dark in there and the lanterns did not works so they gave us glow sticks , some of the items were worn out so much that we couldn’t make out the details that were needed to solve the case and were some clues/items that were not needed in the game due to certain parts of the room being out of order so those items threw us off and wasted time.

We enjoyed the concept of the room but it needed some maintenance. Unable to read letters that you needed and got stuck because of it. Some other props also not working when we visited.

Had a great time here! My friends and I were here on vacation and it was our first escape room. Damien was our host and he was interactive and hilarious throughout the entire event. It wasnt too challenging just more had to think outside the box. We did the Merlin challenge and it was great. Even had my friend walking around in a cloak, we couldn't stop laughing through the entire game. Would definitely recommend trying this out!

Merlin’s Chamber was the only one our family did. I would certainly think a 7 year old could participate with adults in this room. There was nothing scary or inappropriate.

Me and 3 of my buddy’s was there Friday night. The lady on the computer name star with a “T” I do believe but our game person was name Lori. Lori was hot but wore a ring on her left hand.
