This place is awesome I absolutely loved the aquarium. I saw fish I've never seen before and upside-down jelly fish which I never knew existed. They have hippos which is rare at a zoo and pink flamingos. I loved it also a great place for kids as they have this really cool obstacle course which look kind of dangerous but I'm sure it's really exciting for kids 10 and up.

As a full-time RV family we love visiting local establishments for our homeschooled children. We've visited the science center twice so far while in town. The first time we didn't visit the zoo because it was rainy and cold, but did the second time and it didn't disappoint. We were able to participate in one of their show (with Dinos) and it was really entertaining for my younger children (ages 5 & 6).
I will say that the price to enter is a little on the pricier side. It would be ~$90 for two adults and three children. Fortunately for us because we travel full-time we have a membership that offers reciprocity.
We've also enjoyed the food inside and wasn't disappointed. I feel it was reasonably priced and the staff was pleasant.
Overall, my family would definitely recommend the science center for those who love science. We learned lots while visiting. We'd love to see something online or available at the museum for homeschoolers. That makes the visits more intentional.
We do plan to visit one more time before leaving town.

Went with my 8 year old grandson. We enjoyed the zoo area, very unique animals and a nice outdoor walk. Aquarium was small but pretty good. Science museum area targeted a younger group. Overall fun, but probably more suited to 3-7 year olds. Would like to see more hands on science exhibits for older kids.

My sister and I went and were amazed at how big it is. The aquariums are wonderful and we loved the penguins. There is so much to see outside as well. Perfect way to spend an afternoon!

I had a great time at Greensboro science center, but if I had to choose just one thing it would be the Dino playground. The museum is very packed with fun. When you walk in you might think this place is small, but believe me that is not true at all. You may like the ropes course that you need to be 8 + to go. And finally this place has a cafe.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience, we live in Fayetteville (over 100 miles away) and we have returned since our first visit in May this year. Go alone or take the family there is something for everyone of any age there. Have fun!

A group of friends toured the Greensboro Science Center. We arrived early in the day to try to escape the rising temperatures later in the day. We toured the outside exhibits. We were impressed with the improvements made to the Science Center. We found that early in the day many of the animals were still sleeping or were hidden inside their enclosures. Perhaps they would be more active later in the day. If you are visiting in the summer, take preventative measures that will protect you in the heat outside. During this visit, most of the group stayed outside. We will have to visit the indoor exhibits on another trip.

Took my sons here since we haven’t been since Christmas. I love the rotating / seasonal exhibits. We decided to go check out the new butterfly exhibit which was pretty cool. You can use the app to wait virtually in line and the line moves very fast. The new mini zoo of animals was a nice treat but it gets hot on the paths without much shelter. There’s also a cool Swiss family Robinson type playground that the kids enjoyed and it has some shade too. Will definitely go back.

I absolutely loved zip lining at Fly Away ! Hannah and Alleiana were amazing and they took great care of me! I was by myself and they were sooooo supportive! I appreciate them ! I felt safe and I had fun !!! I will be coming back with my friends ! Thanks ladies ! ❤️❤️

We did the Sky Wild ropes course and it was absolutely thrilling, challenging and yet delightful to experience. The folks working there were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to interact with.

I've only visited the science center.....I don't work there. The best way is to google the Greensboro Science Center, scroll down to CONTACT US, and use one of their contact options (email and/or phone) and ask them directly.
Is this what you are asking about?
"SNAP/EBT Discount: Individuals and families enrolled in a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) from any state can receive up to five $5.00 general admission tickets by presenting a SNAP/EBT card and photo ID. This discount is only available for in-person, same-day ticket purchases. Not valid for group visits."
If so, it is still listed under their discounts.
Is there places to sit throughout the Science Center. I have a leg disability so I need to sit periodically.
