The venue itself deserves 0 stars. As a caregiver for someone in a wheelchair, I attempted to contact the venue multiple times to inquire about their ADA accommodations, but, unsurprisingly, I never managed to reach anyone for confirmation. Despite this, we decided to take a chance and purchase tickets since it was something he was really looking forward to—big mistake. The event setup was a nightmare for wheelchair users. The ADA platform was located right in the middle of a packed, standing-room-only GA floor, making it extremely difficult to get in and out. The area was overcrowded, leaving little room to maneuver a wheelchair, so we ended up abandoning it entirely and staying on the outskirts of the floor. I nearly had a panic attack just trying to sit in the designated ADA area. There wasn’t even consideration for a family restroom in the main venue. While some staff members did try to help us, it felt like an afterthought. I do appreciate their efforts to assist us in navigating the crowded floor and finding a restroom, which was far outside the event space, but shouldn’t this have been planned ahead of time? We spent $20 on parking and the cost of tickets only to leave early due to the poor ADA arrangements. Lesson learned. I feel terrible for my husband, who was really excited to see the bands and have a great time. We’ll stick to venues that prioritize proper planning for accessibility, but we won’t be returning to the Greensboro Coliseum.

My husband and I went to a show held at the Greensboro Coliseum. The venue was expansive with plenty of parking. The event staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. There were lots of quick dining options available however we ate before the show so I can’t speak to the actual food. All in all a great experience!

I've been here before for concerts but won't return for a concert here. The sound is horrible and probably the worst venue for sound, in terms of concerts. However, I was here last week for the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament. The staff was nice that works here. However once I went to the restroom downstairs, and the water was brown coming from the faucet. I could not wash my hands. Then the next day there was NO water upstairs. I am not sure what's going on with the water here. My biggest complaint, is the way they have the Ovations Lounge for VIP guests, and Fan Fest. There's no way a person can go from Fan Fest to the lounge for food without walking outside around the building. This isn't ideal when it's pouring down rain. They should reconsider the setup so the VIP guests can access the lounge AND Fan Fest without going outside. Perhaps a wristband at fan fest for VIP guests.

I've been to this venue several times -- for an ice skating tournament, NCAA regionals, a concert, and most recently for the ACC men's basketball tournament. I appreciate the dining/drink options, clean restrooms, plenty of staff, and general efficiency in getting people in -- although everyone is funneled through one main entrance, which was backed up on the last night of the tournament. There's an ACC museum on site but I didn't go in since they were having private events when I walked by. Tip: you don't have to pay the exorbitant prices for parking. I always park legally on nearby side streets and never have had a problem getting in and out. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants to grab a bite before or after your event.

The complex is an amazing, multiple venue location for sports and entertainment. We saw a Springsteen concert there and were very impressed by the layout and the staff. The seats were ok and there were options for food and beverage.
There were two problems. First, the beverage concession near our seats ran out of water and a couple of other drinks before the show. How do you run out of water at a concert arena that early? That sounds like bad organization to me.
Second problem was the merchandise stand. It was mobbed. It was placed at an awkward corner near the entrance and there were only 4-5 employees working it. It took 30-45 minutes to get to the front and in the meantime, you were elbow to elbow with other folks angling for the best route to get to the front of the line. The head employee at the mercy booth occasionally yelled out for the throng to make five lines, but that was impossible because nobody wanted to move and if a genii had made the five lines happen, the lines would have extended back out of the coliseum. Then there were people trying to cut through the mass to get to the other side of the coliseum. It was a mess.
The sound was good once the show started. The sight lines to the stage were decent and exiting after the show was smooth.
A nice place with room for improvement.

The Coliseum’s acoustics are great. However:
1. The hallways and F&B are way too small to handle a capacity crowd.
2. The Complex is five different venues and all five were in use the night we saw Springsteen. Parking is a nightmare.

I have attended the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at several venues over the past 23-years and the Greensboro Coliseum is hands down the best. Every employee that I encountered, from the parking lot attendants, security screeners, ticket scanner, ushers and concession workers treated me professionally and did everything possible to ensure I had a pleasant visit. Like most venues hosting NCAA tournament the arena is cleared between the afternoon and evening sessions. Many venues have difficulty handling this "short turn around," often causing fans to miss the tip off of the evening session. This was not the case here at Greensboro. The re-admission to the arena for the evening session was quick and smooth. The staff and management was obviously well prepared for this readmission went smoothly and without delay. There is a nice variety of food and beverages available from the concession stands on the concourse. Hat off to the Staff and Management of the Greensboro Coliseum for another awesome experience.

Visited the Coliseum on 3/9/23 to see the Miami vs. Wake Forest ACC tournament game. There is plenty of parking near the arena. Easy access from the parking lot to the arena. Lots of food options.

With the "renovations" going on they have done a poor job of planning for ADA accessibility. These are federally protected rights in the USA for people with disabilities. We visited in December. (Where they were also hosting an event for children with disabilities that very night) and us along with more than 20 other people with various disabilities was deplorable. No one could get their stories straight, first the elevators weren't working then they were then they weren't then they were. They told us we were all going to have to get back in our vehicles and go somewhere else but they didn't have floor access (which almost every person had). People with various disabilities were forced to walk or be pushed the equivalent of 3 miles back and forth because they couldn't figure out how to get them to their seats (most who had paid a premium for early admittance and vip seating). Most of the staff had deplorable attitudes and need SIGNIFICANT training in ADA Laws and what that entails when someone with a disability needs access. It wasn't until we demanded to see management and began exercising ADA laws and demanding for accommodations to be found that they miraculously had an elevator working. And even then, we had to repeatedly call back management to deal with all kinds of complications, like seating. In our section they didn't have enough seats and we were relocated thankfully to better spot thanks to the band we saw. But no one could ever figure out what had happened, who worked there. If people who knew their rights hadn't been there many of those folks wouldn't have gotten in when they did bc many didn't know their rights and the staff was trying to use that to not do their jobs. The experience was awful, the worst we had ever been to. It was an ADA lawsuit waiting to happen. The staff outside who work the parking lots were phenomenal and super helpful and friendly.

I am not certain. However it looks like the complex is handicap oriented. I would call to confirm.

Usual parking fee is 20 dollars I always walk but I see many golf carts out and about the lot so prearranged I think you could get a lift if needed
