The Coliseum’s acoustics are great. However:
1. The hallways and F&B are way too small to handle a capacity crowd.
2. The Complex is five different venues and all five were in use the night we saw Springsteen. Parking is a nightmare.

I have attended the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at several venues over the past 23-years and the Greensboro Coliseum is hands down the best. Every employee that I encountered, from the parking lot attendants, security screeners, ticket scanner, ushers and concession workers treated me professionally and did everything possible to ensure I had a pleasant visit. Like most venues hosting NCAA tournament the arena is cleared between the afternoon and evening sessions. Many venues have difficulty handling this "short turn around," often causing fans to miss the tip off of the evening session. This was not the case here at Greensboro. The re-admission to the arena for the evening session was quick and smooth. The staff and management was obviously well prepared for this readmission went smoothly and without delay. There is a nice variety of food and beverages available from the concession stands on the concourse. Hat off to the Staff and Management of the Greensboro Coliseum for another awesome experience.

Visited the Coliseum on 3/9/23 to see the Miami vs. Wake Forest ACC tournament game. There is plenty of parking near the arena. Easy access from the parking lot to the arena. Lots of food options.

With the "renovations" going on they have done a poor job of planning for ADA accessibility. These are federally protected rights in the USA for people with disabilities. We visited in December. (Where they were also hosting an event for children with disabilities that very night) and us along with more than 20 other people with various disabilities was deplorable. No one could get their stories straight, first the elevators weren't working then they were then they weren't then they were. They told us we were all going to have to get back in our vehicles and go somewhere else but they didn't have floor access (which almost every person had). People with various disabilities were forced to walk or be pushed the equivalent of 3 miles back and forth because they couldn't figure out how to get them to their seats (most who had paid a premium for early admittance and vip seating). Most of the staff had deplorable attitudes and need SIGNIFICANT training in ADA Laws and what that entails when someone with a disability needs access. It wasn't until we demanded to see management and began exercising ADA laws and demanding for accommodations to be found that they miraculously had an elevator working. And even then, we had to repeatedly call back management to deal with all kinds of complications, like seating. In our section they didn't have enough seats and we were relocated thankfully to better spot thanks to the band we saw. But no one could ever figure out what had happened, who worked there. If people who knew their rights hadn't been there many of those folks wouldn't have gotten in when they did bc many didn't know their rights and the staff was trying to use that to not do their jobs. The experience was awful, the worst we had ever been to. It was an ADA lawsuit waiting to happen. The staff outside who work the parking lots were phenomenal and super helpful and friendly.

Went to the for KING and COUNTRY concert on December 11th. ADA patrons and seating was a JOKE. Since the bands was late setting up, the staff had NO backup plans for people in wheelchairs to watch the Q&A that was included. No one seemed to care and it took multiple demands to get a section on the floor so we could actually watch it. Then I was told that ADA seats were moved to the back instead of the the side. Fortunately, I didn't have ADA Seating because I wanted to be close to the stage. The management and staff need training on what the ADA Access means before they will be hit with a lawsuit that they will lose.
The for KING and COUNTRY concert was amazing definitely not the bands fault for ignorance of the Greensboro Coliseum.

Clean. I felt safe. Handicap parking was easy to find.
The concert we attended, For King And Country used lots of lighting effects. Raising the stage was cool. Sound was great.

Older venue and is dated. Parking was close and cheap for concert . $20. We felt safe. Food average. All employees nice. Seats are very tight. We felt safe. Bathrooms had no working towel dispensers and no dryers which assent nice. Elevator broken so you have to climb stairs.

Older venue. Clean and felt safe. The seating is very tight. Bathrooms had no functioning hand towel dispensers and no dryers which is really my only complaint. Parking was $20 which for Iron Maiden was very reasonable. Employees nice. Food was average.

This review is specifically for the White Oak Amphitheater. The venue is lovely and overall the concert that I attended was awesome however, there are a couple things that really soured the experience overall. Looking at the venue from a accessibility standpoint, it isn’t super accessible. Firstly, parking is pretty good but unless you have handicap plates/placard or VIP parking you will have to walk and it won’t be entirely flat land. There are not designated walkways to and from the parking areas to the main gate. You will more than likely have to walk over/down medians, through drainage ditches, etc. Also, once you make it to the gate they absolutely will measure your chair and it has to be short enough with the seat low enough (in accordance to their posted policy) in order for them to allow you to bring the chairs in. While this is mentioned on the website, I wish they would have an area away from the line to measure because it backs up the line having to measure your chair right by the lawn chair line entrance. You will have to return the chairs to your vehicle or leave them outside the gate if they are too tall. Be mindful that the lawn seating is not accessible! If you have any issues moving up or down sloped areas, sitting low to the ground, or otherwise have a mobility issue and do not purchase a specific designated handicap accessible seat they do not care and will not allow you to bring in a chair that is accessible to you either way. I saw staff turning away a man with a seat accessible to him and once you get in the venue, it will be nearly impossible to speak to someone about access to those seats. Do yourself a favor and reach out to the box office ahead of time! Also, the lines can get long in order to get into the venue. The ADA entrance was a shorter wait but you may still have to wait a few minutes to be screened and have your tickets scanned. Warning: the staff may not be knowledgeable regarding paper tickets! As a sentimental person, I ordered the paper tickets. The staff did not understand how to scan the tickets and were going to send us to the ticket booth to get tickets since ours didn’t have barcodes. These new tickets have a chip in them that the scanners can pick up, I had to explain this to the staff and then they tried scanning it that way. Luckily, it worked but that was a little awkward after having to wait 10-15 minutes in line (after having to walk the chairs back to the car). Once you get in the venue, the line for the chair rentals and merch are right by the entrance which backs up the entire entrance. This does make it very difficult for anyone with mobility issues as people wouldn’t move or would keep walking through the small spaces that opened up for wheelchairs users, cane users, etc. The bathrooms also are right in that area (who knows if there are any other bathrooms on the other side as there is no signage or maps on the website indicating where bathrooms are) which makes them difficult to get to as well. The lawn is sloped and makes for a good view from pretty much anywhere except for right in the middle of the top lawn (cover for the sound mixing area is pretty tall and will block your view). Lastly, the chairs they rent out are not great even for $5 and are super low to the ground to meet their ridiculous chair requirements. If you have any issues getting up or down PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE contact the box office before you buy tickets. I will return but I wish somebody somewhere would have left a review regarding accessibility before I visited for the first time.

Attended a basketball tournament this past weekend and overall I would say the facility was pretty good. The courts in such a tourney are temporary in nature so the down side is they use a floating interlocking floor that seems to shift, especially near the outside. The seating is very limited as they position folding chairs around the parameter of courts one and two but if you're on any of the other 6 courts you are limited to seating at the baselines....leads to lots of people standing to be able to watch a game. I don't mind paying $35.00 for a weekend pass at all but most venues are more accommodating and given the choice I would rather play elsewhere.

Usual parking fee is 20 dollars I always walk but I see many golf carts out and about the lot so prearranged I think you could get a lift if needed

Coming from out of town for a Foo Fighters concert at night - Is it safe to walk around the area to park alone and are there cabs available there for rides? Also is it a bit on its own or are their hotels next door or close enough to safely walk back to after a late concert and alone at night / is all well populated?

Parking is close and should be safe. Yes there are taxi's available. The complex does kinda stand alone but there are business not far away. No hotel next door. There are several hotels/motels about a mile away near interstate I-40. Not recommend walking there though . Traffic is usually bad and not the best area.

I don't think your 3month old would need a ticket as long as she sits on your lap. Call them and find out to be sure.
