We were also present during the preparation of the actors and so we witnessed the make-up phase. In my opinion it's all really interesting. Too bad it was a Monday afternoon and there were only 4 of us watching their performance, but they were professional and we really enjoyed it. I advise.

予約は早くするのがお勧め。予約した順に席が前から割り当てられるので。私たちは午前中にホテルで予約して前から3，4番目でした。2階席もありほぼ満席だったのには驚きでした。
メイクアップから見るのがお勧め。いい経験ができたという感じです。

Reading the literature provided gives an insight into what you are actually watching. It is a very and strident performance by the dancers and musicians and I understand that the make up takes several hours to put on.
It did however get a bit boring as the time went by and I saw that some others in the audience were struggling to give it their full attention. I am glad that I saw the performance though.

Attended one show in the evening ( I think they have only one show # not sure) . Loved the show and also took pictures with the Artists after the show was over

This is a dance form which originated in Kerala, India
There are a number of cultural shows and events, featuring this dance, organised in various cities of Kerala at various times especially during festivals. But in case you are a tourist with limited time, then the easiest is to head to Thekkady, Kerala where you will find some of these troupes have tourist friendly front offices right on the main road. Mostly two shows daily starting 1700, don't miss kalariyapattu show which runs in tandem. Happy visiting

Thanks for those who answered my Guruvayur and Mamiyoor temple question. Just to confirm, I assume that Patdmanathan temple in Thiruvandrum must wear saree as well. How about Kanyakumari Amma temple? Another thing will this 2 temple be crowded?
I am from Malaysia, bringing my elderly parents thats why thought of checking to have a clearer picture. If i want to see the sun rise in Kanyakumari how early shall I wake up to see it?
Also, any nice sea food restaurant in kovalam?
What are the nice restaurants in Cochin? I have tried ceylone bakery before, the food was awesome.
What is the best shopping spot in Cochin?Is it the flea market at Fort Cochin? What is the opening hours?

Hi I will be visiting cochin this month. Since I am with parents decided to have half day boat ride and stay in resort near by. I am wondering if I can go for a good Khatakali show in Alleypey. I been to Cochin before with friends and have watched in Cochin culturer show. Since this time the itinenary abit different, wonder any nice Khathakali show in allepey.
