We were so lucky to be in town for the first live concert by Lyrica Baroque since covid. There were strict covid protocols with vaccination and ID checked. The music was divine and in a setting that matched. Thank you for making safety so important that we could have live music again.

We attended Sunday services at Christ Church Cathedral and were made to feel welcome by a couple of the parishioners who could tell we were visitors. The stained glass is stunningly beautiful and the windows in the apse are of flowers, not saints. so they are particularly remarkable. I kept wishing I could learn something from the website or in a pamphlet about the building's history/architecture and the stained glass but I never found it. The organ is a good one (again I couldn't seem to find much about it) and the choir appears to be professional or well stocked with pros at least. The service from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer was Rite 1 (though the website said it would be Rite II). We are Episcopalians so that was no problem, however.

Don't miss the opportunity to view the majestic interior of the Christ Church. Having travelled throughout Europe, my wife and I have visited many beautiful churches and cathedrals. The beauty inside Christ Church was beyond our wildest expectations.

A beautiful historical church that's been kept up nicely and well maintained. It's worth a look if you're out towards the Garden district.

This is the episcopal cathedral for the diocese of Louisiana. It's a bit smaller than we expected, and our visit was short (they were preparing for a Festival of Lessons and Carols and we did not have time to stay for the service. We'll be back to look around more, though, on another visit.

Recommended by our rector in CA for our visit to New Orleans, and we were glad we visited. Beautiful high church service with professional level choir and organist. Stand waiting the Eucharist in the midst of such music? Yes please! Greeted warmly by parishioners and Cannon after. The cathedral is lovely with wonderful acoustics and richly colored stained glass windows all about. The organ has rich deep bass tones. Thought provoking sermon. And... they have meditative yoga in the chapel Sunday evenings. This is a parish busy finding ways to reach the people of the community. Bravo.

A wonderful cathedral with grand ceilings and majestic stained glass. I visited the cathedral and took a quick tour around the property. The staff was friendly and the building is full of rich history.
