Kayaking trip with a giant dose of local history and info!

We recently went out on a 7 person trip. It was windy just up to calling off the trip, but we are VERY glad that didn’t happen.

We didn’t go quite as far as we might have in less windy conditions but got a great amount of details about the history, wildlife and neighborhood we toured thru.

Excellent activity!

Colin was excellent! The weather was unpredictable, but Colin made it clear that it was up to us to decide how far to paddle. He clearly has a lot of knowledge about the area and shared it as well as answering all of our questions. We saw many turtles, as well as an alligator, along with ducks and geese, and other shore birds. We would highly recommend this trip.

Amazing nature experience in the middle of New Orleans

What a wonderful bayou kayak tour with our little family. A unique experience of life of nature in the middle of New Orleans. Off the beaten tourism tracks. Colin was knowledgeable about the history, architecture and ecology of the bayou! We paddled along turtles and duck families and encountered a peaceful alligator. Highly recommended!

Must-do while vacationing

The entire experience was lovely. My sister and I joined a group of five others and we all had an amazing time. I was a tiny bit nervous, not having kayaked (successfully) in 4 years, but the experience was very beginner friendly, and the most fun I've ever had kayaking.

Trishell was an incredibly spirited and knowledgeable guide. Her enthusiasm for the bayou was palpable and made our experience fly by. I would recommend for anyone wanting an interactive and fun activity on their trip to New Orleans!

We had such a great time! I was with a group of 5 other friends and Trishell did an incredible job at engaging the group. It was such a great mix of history, nature, and architecture. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Tour and Guide

Amazing time and a unique experience for something fun and different to do in NOLA. Tour was a great experience and the guide was extremely knowledgeable, could answer any question you throw at her! I accidentally booked for the wrong date and when I showed up not knowing and causing some confusion they went above and beyond being extremely flexible and supportive. One of the best experiences I had in NOLA. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you want something a little different and get to see a little more of nature in NOLA. Plus you could make it a day in mid-city and stop by the Museum of Art afterwards since the start point is just across the street.

Good communication, on time, good equipment, very knowledgeable tour guide. Collin Pointed us to a great local restaurant spot for lunch afterwards and excellent advice on music venues. Overall great experience for our group from Maryland, DC, Utah, and Oregon
