OMG what an awesome evening with Judy learning so much about this wonderful city with so much history! You will not get a better experience if you don’t go with Judy. I have been touring with her for the past few years and have several friends who have toured with her and they all rave about her!
Don’t miss out on this experience!

Do not miss the cemetery tour with Judy while in New Orleans. Good for visitors and locals!

WOW!!
Judy knocked our socks off with her wealth of knowledge on the mourning traditions and practices of early New Orleanians.

My father and I took the cemetery tour with Judy and it was jam packed with information on funeral rituals, jazz funerals, the layout and design of the cemetery we toured and much more. A few points I'd like to note:

1) I contacted Judy just a few days before we wanted to take our tour. Judy was responsive, professional and very clear about what we could expect in our tour. Judy was also quite flexible with us, which I greatly appreciated, since we were leaving New Orleans just a few days later.

2) If you like history, this is the tour for you! Judy did not sugar coat any of the history she shared. Judy expanded on the relevance of the history she was sharing with current day events. I valued this clear and direct approach, and modern connection, which is so valuable, especially today, when so many are seeking a comfortable and convenient retelling of history.

3) Be ready for rapid fire information. There is so much to share that it comes at you fast. But Judy is fully aware of this and takes breaks to ask you if you have questions or need further clarification. Judy was gracious and patient when I had additional questions. At no point during my tour did I feel uncomfortable to ask questions. After the tour Judy also shared links to help provide additional context and background.

Judy was respectful of the sacred space we were in, respectful of our time and the valuable information she shared. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

We learned a lot about The Orleans history. We took the 3-in-1 Tour (French Quarter + Free People of Color + Plessy v. Ferguson). Great experience. Thanks Judy. Highly recommended.

We did the cemetery tour with Judy and she is the absolute best! She is incredibly knowledgeable and one of the best tour guides we have ever experienced. We are already planning another tour with her on our return to the city. Don't miss out on all the wonderful history of New Orleans!

Judy is undoubtedly the very best tour guide in New Orleans!

Judy was the highlight of our trip to New Orleans!! She made this not just a visit but an experience where we to learned New Orleans history, it's culture, it's lore and most importantly, it's people! We loved her so much that after our first tour with her for the History & Mystery Tour of the French Quarter, we did a second one with her of the Garden District! Judy is warm and funny and she weaves a story that draws you in and connects all of it together that gave us the goosebumps in the Ghost Tour and made us feel like we were stepping into the past for Garden Tour. We feel SO lucky that we found Judy because she is incredibly knowledgeable and can speak off the cuff on almost any aspect of New Orleans and her experience as a long time history teacher means that she is able to engage and enthrall even the most fidgety of kids! While there are many big tour companies out there, there is nothing like getting a personal tour and feeling a real connection to the guide who is passionate about her city and we cannot recommend Judy more highly and we hope to keep in touch with her for years to come!

Historically accurate without a script

Love that it's off-script and more intimate than the big gaggles of tourists being dragged along by someone who memorized a script.
Judy, we gotta get you a Google drive or something so you can send a link with your visual aids afterwards.
