Faced with a long list of must-see places around Custer, South Dakota, but short on time, we elected to sign on with Dave’s. Our tour exceeded expectations – bison herds, pronghorn, deer and the stunning beauty of the region left us filled us with lasting memories. Dave's awesome guide, Rick, was the perfect person to enhance our experience sharing history and info on the wildlife in the area. The private vehicle was clean and well stocked with water, snacks, binoculars and phone chargers. You won't get a better tour of this area. Thank you Dave’s World Tours!

Extremely pleased beyond words with our tour. We stayed at the Blue Bell Lodge and Dave's Tours picked us up there and dropped us off after the day. Our driver took us to Sylvan Lake, Needles Highway, Mt, Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and stopped at Baker's Bakery and Cafe for lunch. Stopped to see and feed the begging burrows. Our day did not disappoint. I highly recommend it.

Family vacation from Ohio ! Mike was our tour guide, he was great and knowledgeable about all the areas we covered.we recommend Dave’s tour!!

Dave and his team provide prompt, professional and comprehensive travel services in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. Dave assistant my husband and I with bicycle transport (drop off and pick up) along the Mickelson Trail. Dave is knowledgeable about the area, able to make great recommendations for activities, and readily available to enhance your visit to the Black Hills with personalized tours.

The Klink's Greatest Tour of the Trip!!
The best part of our trip was the personal attention given us by our tour guide -- especially the fact that it was just the two of us and the guide, allowing us a personal connection which was most appreciated, educational, and personal! This was a critical factor in our choosing and using the tour service. We had been on a tour at another vacation opportunity a couple of years ago and most definitely wanted to have Dave's Tours for this experience! The friendliness, personal attention, along with the wonderful knowledge of the area/history was one of the great highlights of our tour! We saw places/aspects of the park that we otherwise would have not seen on a larger venue, as other tours provides. Add to this the expertise as well as a personal and very likable personality made the whole experience worth twice the price paid!! We learned much, laughed and shared together, and, in the process, learned so much about the area -- the price was well worth the investment!! We were made to feel welcome, appreciated, and wanted -- which is a rare but essential set of qualities we seek when booking tours, wanting to know we are important, and not a "number" of the day. Our guide provided both a great knowledge of the area and history, as well as making it very personal for us, leaving us with the enjoyable knowledge that we were appreciated

Dave's world tours is an exceptional value considering all you get to see in Custer State Park and The Badlands National Forest. It's a 8 hr tour of Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, Needles Hwy, Iron Mountain Rd, the tunnels, the pig tail bridges and of course the wildlife loop. Our guide Tom, was knowledgeable of the area and history. Tom took us to a great lunch spot and then we went to a lake to eat it. You aren't going too do that on a bus tour. You also aren't going to go to the areas a small van is going. We saw plenty of wildlife too. You can also do a 4 hr tour.

I would give a 10 star rating to Dave's World Tours is I could! His is on top of his game, always responsive, fun, with a great sense of humor. Dave provided shuttle service from Edgemont to Deadwood in order for us to do the Mickelson Trail on bicycles. Unfortunately, we had mechanical issues about 30 miles in and reached out to Dave as we were out in the middle of nowhere. Dave dropped everything and rescued us by sending one of his drivers to pick us up and deliver us back to our car in Edgemont. Here comes the shocking part - He did not charge us and had adult beverages for us. All because he said, things like this happen and he wanted us to still enjoy our vacation. Drivers Rick and Steve were wonderful! If you want a great experience with exceptional people, go with Dave's World!

Dave's World Tours is absolutely the BEST way to see Custer State Park including Sylvan Lake and Needles Highway (you have GOT to do Needles Highway!!), Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. It is very reasonably priced, someone else does the driving and you get dropped off at the entrance at Mt. Rushmore (it was crowded already and we were there before major tourist season. we were there in mid May).
We asked Rick our guide for the day a whole BUNCH of questions - he was very knowledgeable about the area and the sights. Dave was fantastic - organized and prompt. There were just three of us so we had an SUV to ourselves (and Rick:)).
Someone else remarked on Dave's problem solving skills and I have to second that. We hit a deer our very first day and Hertz was NO help getting us alternative transportation. The Comfort Inn in Custer gave us Dave's info and Dave connected us with a local company that was just opening for car rentals. Really saved our vacation. Then his team picked us up and brought us to the car place, then ultimately at the end of our trip to the airport. We did the tour as well. Very classy and comfortable transportation, and RELIABLE!! and friendly as anything. Patti picked us up at the hotel and hauled all our luggage into the rental car while we were doing the paperwork. She is magnificent. I really cannot say enough about Dave, Dave's World Tours and all the people. We were beyond delighted.
Also - Custer is a nice central place to stay for a few days to do all the many National Parks and Monuments, and state highlights, that are available.

Given the scary roads throughout Custer State Park, it was wonderful to have this private small van tour option. We felt safe and well taken care of, and were able to have flexibility on what we saw. The price was lower than other options. Our driver was super friendly. It was a foggy day but still cool.

My wife and I just complete a 6,000 mile motorcycle trip of the western US. An absolute highlight of the trip was Dave's business and his personal hospitality while in the Mt Rushmore area. We needed a day off the bikes and Dave was the perfect host, tour guide, and driver. Being a multi-million mile business traveler, I have experienced it all, and Dave goes to the top of the list in this category. Our highest recommendation.
