Situado en el lago Mondsee, a unos 30 km. de Salzburgo, merece la pena pasar una jornada aquí disfrutando del sol, trampolines y toboganes. Hay piscinas para los más pequeños. Instalaciones muy limpias, vestuarios con taquilla opcional y posibilidad de almorzar dentro del recinto ya que disponen de bar con opciones de platos de pollo asado, pizzas, patatas fritas, etc. Abre de 9 a 18 h. y tiene tres opciones de precios dependiendo de si se coge entrada para día completo, a partir de las 13 h. o a partir de las 16 h. Niños menores de 6 años gratis. Ofrece descuentos con la Salzkammergut-Card. Precio de la entrada bastante razonable. Recomendable zapatillas de agua para los niños si se bañan en el lago. Paisaje increíble.

Ein kleines Strandbad am Mondsee. auch für Kleinkinder geeignet. Sprungtürme. Umkleide, Wasserrutschen auch für Kleinkinder. Abgetrennter Nichtschwimmerbereich. Toiletten, Imbiß - alles vorhanden und top-sauber. Stuhl- und Schirm- und liegeausleihe preisgünstig. Top-gepflegter Rasen. Reichlich große, schattenspendende Bäume. Das Strandbad verfügt vormittags über ausreichend Parkplätze. Eintritt günstig. Das Strandbad bietet einen kleinen Strand für Kinder und Stege zum Baden. Dazu gibt es ein Kleinkindbereich-Poolbereich sowie vier Rutschen für Kinder, die schön angelegt waren. Die Wasserqualität des Sees war super.

The walk to the lake from the town centre was nice with paths lined with trees. It was nice to visit the lake in winter where there's not much people.

Es ist sauber - sowohl das Gelände als auch die infrastrukturellen Räumlichkeiten. Auch das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich.
Leider ist das Bad - zumindest immer dann, wenn ich hinkam, hoffnungslos überlaufen.
Für Teenager gibt es wirklich tolle "Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten", aber für Kleinkinder eben man zwei winzige Becken. Hier sollte man unbedingt Abhilfe schaffen.

We started from Vienna at 8.30 am after breakfast and on the way to Salzburg, we reached Mondsee around 11.30am It is a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains.
This is the place shown in the picture Sound of Music. Maria and children rode bikes here.
We booked Mondland cruise,costing 7.5 Euro per head. Quickly we boarded the cruise. This lake is 2 km long and the height is 400 metres from sea level.It was a guided tour, commentary was given by the Captain.we sat in the open deck in front and we were singing and enjoying.I t was an enjoyable cruise on the beautiful lake. But alas it was only for 40 minutes.

Im Ort Mondsee gibt es außer dem Alpenseebad leider keinen anderen Zugang zum See. Nächster Zugang ist erst bei der Badeanlage St. Lorenz. Bei schönem Wetter ist in der Saison und an Wochenenden das Bad einfach überfüllt. Parkplätze sind rar.

Great and amazingly beautiful place to cool off, not far from Salzburg. A few slides (mostly for kids), plus inflatables in the lake, plus diving boards.
There are lifeguards so its pretty safe, although not all cordened off, so keep an eye on your kids anyway.
A few food and drink options. You can hire a sunbed for 5 euros (plus refundable deposit).
Just note it can get very busy on a hot day peak season. Arrive early to get a parking space, and a decent spot.

Sorry I cannot help. When we were there this month it was not in season and our boat trip had been arranged by the tour guide privately. The Austrian |Tourist Office will probably help.
