Challenges even the top skiers.
This resort is not for the faint hearted.& certainly not for beginners or lower intermediated either.
To get about you need to be a competent skier.
On piste runs are NOT accurate graded Blue/ Red or Black. Additionally slopes are intermittently pisted overnight. The exit routes from Rendl and off the main St. Anton areas are challenging too with no “ chicken runs” for tired skiers or those who wish less severe terrain.
Expect lots of skiers on Rendl at end of day & blue 50 into St Anton and expert skiers travelling at pace to get to the Apres ski bars.

The ski routes and total off piste is high quality snow and ideal for the off piste skier 👏
The cradle of skiing is a fantastic place to ski and demanding due to its terrain variety for skiers. It presents amazing views and off piste guide skiing too off the back of Valluga but take care as weather can close in so quickly.
For the ski adventurers / tourers the area is massive and linked with a comprehensive new lift addition to get you to Lech & Zurs . Even over to the Warch / Strocken part of the area.
Great experience to have skied her twice over 4 years

Hotel Arlberg is a lovely, friendly hotel with great facilities. The spa area is fantastic - we went every day after skiing on the tough pistes around St Anton. The rooms are clean and comfortable - we had a superior double which was spacious and quiet (although not with the windows open as we were at the front of the hotel) - but we did have good views! The staff are very friendly - Karoly and Peter looked after us in the restaurant very well and were accommodating to anything we needed. The food is plentiful and tasty. Overall would highly recommend a stay at this great hotel!

Afgelopen krokusvakantie voor de eerste maal naar deze regio komen skiën. Ik vind het allemaal wat overroepen. Groot skigebied maar ook redelijk prijzig zeker ook de skipas. Ben ook 2x uitgescholden geweest door werkende mensen daar wat beneden alle peil was. Ook het weer was heel Wisselvallig. Dan ga ik persoonlijk liever naar het skigebied skiwelt. Mij zien ze hier niet meer terug.

de Arlberg is prachtig en je kan je er goed vermaken als je van de natuur houdt. Wij zijn naar beneden gelopen, goed te doen.

Ruig smal dal met mooie toppen. Het uitzicht is heel mooi en je kunt hier op diverse plekken mooie skitouren. Zowel vanuit de skiliftem als vanuit het dal. Voor beginner en de meer ervaren skier/snowboarder.

The Arlberg has always been a great skiing area, but now that the new lift system links Zurs and Lech to St. Anton, Stuben and St. Christophe it is even better! Less experienced skiiers are probably better in Lech and Zurs, whilst more experienced skiers will love the challenging skiing and long runs. Now more than 300kms of pistes, as well as beautiful restaurants which retain the charm that is sadly missing in the French resorts

THE range peaks at 9000ft. It has lifts, cableways and runs which stretch for miles. A skiing And snowboarding Mecca. Travel there by rail and enjoy the glorious scenery and adventure of the long tunnel. A truly fabulous winter wonderland.

You don't need to ski to enjoy the mountains. For 46 € (including 5 € for a card - that you can get back) you can go up the the top of Valluga. From there you have a 360 degree panoramic view of various alpine ranges & there is a pictorial guide to show you what's what. The telescopes are free & also have the peaks labelled. On the way up there are 2 stations with restaurants/cafes/pubs where you can stop to get refreshments. You get the first cable car to the first station. There are several restaurants with a wide choice & good views. Then the next cable car takes to to even better views and another restaurant offering a limited but Ok menu. The rösti was particularly delicious - fried potato - with cheese- topped with egg & bacon. Then the next cable car takes you to the summit. 2811m where you get the ultimate views. It's more likely you'll get sun at altitude. In December the village doesn't get direct sunshine until the afternoon & then as the afternoon wears on the sun gets obscured.

Man wird keinen Berg Arlberg im Skigebiet finden, aber das Skigebiet selber ist ein Traum - von Warth/Schröcken, über Lech/Oberlech, Zug, Zürs, Stuben, St. Christop bis St. Anton wird für jeden etwas geboten - sei es auf den "normalen" Pisten, den Skirouten oder garem Gelände. Hier kann man sich austoben (ein gut gefülltes Portemonnaie vorausgesetzt) ...
