You should do this! The crew was GREAT! The submarine was very cool! The narrator was freakin hilarious! I hope that is what I should call the guy that talked us through our tour. If narrator is not the right title, please forgive me. This guy is a HUGE asset to this provider. We laughed almost the entire time. The reef and the ship wrecks we got to explore via submarine we beyond fantastic. The customer service experience was world class! Thanks to everyone for making our island adventure truly epic!

Skip the Luau
Okay, if you have been to Hawaii and done the Luau thing. Skip it this time and spend your money here. It's absolutely amazing to see the ocean this way. 😍 I would do this on every island.

This is a great adventure!
This tour was awesome! My husband was afraid he would feel claustrophobic, but wasn’t at all! The interior is much larger than you would think and holds around 30 people. You sit back to back and could even stand if you had to. The views are amazing! It’s a great alternative to scuba diving. When we went by one of the ship wrecks, we saw a shark and a large spotted manta ray! Our guide, Paul, was entertaining and very informative. I would highly recommend this tour.

Kona Submarine Activity

This was an expensive tourist activity.
It lasted exactly 1hour from the time we met the first sub tour guide until we walked off the sub. The price needs to be lowered a lot to justify the short time and viewing.
The pictures in the brochures were lively and colorful, with clear visibility. That is not what we saw. We were told by the crewman is was a good visibility day, but actually it was somewhat hazy and never really clear. We did not see anything really spectacular. Colors were gray, beige except for a few small fish.
The crew was friendly and helpful. Great explanations from entering the sub to exiting.
Being inside the submarine was the highlight. It was well lit and viewing windows were large enough. Air conditioning worked well.
A family activity but not for babies or toddlers. The adults want little distraction and want to hear the crewman with his presentation and his pointing out things to look for.

Great Tour!

We really enjoyed this tour! We were lucky to have only a small group on the sub, so we had plenty of space. The crew were friendly and our guide, Ethan, was knowledgeable and funny. We saw lots of fish of different sizes including puffer fish, Nemo fish, schools of fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, a shark that swam through one of the two shipwrecks, and coral reefs. It was fun watching large fish swim right by the window! I wish the seats sat lower so it would be easier to see out the windows, but I made it work. I am so glad I videotaped and got some great video. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would do it again!

A nice adventure

This was a very nice adventure. From the people in the office to the crew on the sub, everyone was very nice. Everything was explained. We were taken to local shipwrecks and saw lots of fish. It is not overpriced. We were lucky when we went because there were not a lot of people. I don't know if a full sub would have been as enjoyable.

Awesome submarine ride

Great submarine ride, all staff were very nice, made sure to keep everyone safe and also keep the trip fun and informative. Going 100 feet deep was unreal, we even got to see a shark while we were near bottom. Dana was a great narrator for the trip and even gave my son a free button which he is currently cherishing lol. Thank you Atlantis submarine!

Under the Sea 🎶🎶
from the moment we stepped on board we had the best time . thank you to all the crew who took us down to 105 feet today on the coral princess it was magic . we saw a dolphin straight of the bay then some many fish out to the wreck with a shark lurking around . got the photos . so happy . excellent tour totally recommend

Dive Dive Dive!!

Signed up to take this tour after watching the submarine from several restaurants on shore and looking up what was going on. My buddy and I signed up and went to check in and they told us we were the only two on the ride at our time. Our wives decided to join us and we ended up having the the tour for the just the four of us.

We had a great time and it was nice to have the attention of the staff and for them to answer questions. We had great views of everything as the captain did a wonderful job ensuring we could see everything.

Highly recommended even if you're nervous about going 110 feet below the surface. For those of you that might fear about getting sea sick, there is a good chance you won't once you're below the surface.

Good trip - Great tour guide

This was our second time going on a submarine tour (the first one 2 years ago off of Maui). We enjoyed the first one so we were excited to go again and this one did not disappoint. Our guide (Chase?) was terrific. We were witnesses to a bonus. Two aggressive fish (guide said the type several times, I just don't recall it!) tried to attack a puffer fish. The puffer puffed up and stayed that way while the two aggressors kept swimming around it. Can't guarantee you will get a bonus on your journey but it was cool for us! The sub dropped to 111 ft (ocean floor) and we went by a couple of shipwrecks that were quite popular with the fish.
Tour is pricey but we enjoyed it. Vacation money....
