Akka-Koli und Paha-Koli liegen nahe beeinander und wenn man hier ist, dann sollte man sich unbedingt die Zeit nehmen, beide zu besuchen. Wunderschöne, wilde Natur.

One of the three top rocks at Koli. Easy to go up but harder to go down. Worth of climbing of course. Take cup of coffee on the hill..

We were walking all of the hills including Ukko, Akka, Paha-Koli. They were all great view points. None over the other. Ukko for sunrise, Akka for sunset.
I suggest to take a walk and feel the area, it's a good place to feel the Finnish nature.

After having hurried away from Ukko-Koli due to other people, and stopped by rather quickly at Akka-Koli, we finally sat down to enjoy the stunning view from Paha-Koli. Contrary to its name (paha means bad or evil), the heart begins to beat slower when taking in both height of the hills, tall trees, deep dive (do be careful, it probably gets slippery in or after rain!) down (well, upon that thought, I felt it skip a couple of beats), vast expanse of lake landscape, a few boats creating sharp lines across the water, small islands as covered in evergreen trees as everywhere around us, and of course the enormous sky above. Us Finns love our clean, beautiful nature, and this moment certainly grounded me whilst making me ponder the great, important questions of life. I’m grateful for having experienced Koli.

From the parking there is a rail elevator which brings you to the hotel and information center. The elevator is free of charge.
From there a quite challenging steep climb brings us up hill, the top is formed by a round rock peak which offers a splendid view over the lake and park. We were lucky, clear sky, 24 degrees C, low humidity, all excellend ingredients for a good view and sporty activities. There are along the same path a number of those peaks, all offering a splendid view over the lake and region. For the walk I recommend good hiking shoes to prevend from injurries.

Paha-Koli (Bad Koli) belongs to Koli national Park and is one of the three main pinnacles of Koli. It has a steep wall, so were good trekking shoes and go for it.

Ukko Koli, He- Koli is a very important sacred site of ancient Carelian Culture. I am a descendant of Carelian tribe, born in Finland and even if I have been living aboard for 30 years I still keep some Finnish traditions and my Carelian heritage alive. So I offered silver to Koli and dripped my votive gift in the deep crevasse splitting Koli mountain, quite unnoticeable even if all visitors do cross this rift. It is narrow, and deep, more than two kilometers it’s said.
Take your trekking gear, something to prepare on the grill- Finnish sausages are full meat and tasty, enjoy the nature and the smell of forest, see the shop and the exhibition in nearby hotel, and for more visit information Centre before visiting the site!

The Paha-Koli hill is about 300-400 meters from the Ukko-Koli. From there is also a great view to the Lake Pielinen. The rock is quite steep and slippery if you're wearing wet shoes. There is a path behind the PAha-Koli rock from where you can have as good views.

It was a short but steep walk. The beautiful views were worth the jaunt up the hill. We are early in the season so the hill was not crowded.

paha koli（パハコリ、パハ展望台... パハはフィンランド語で" 悪い”の意だそう。）は、コリ国立公園にある景勝地、ウッコ展望台とアッカ展望台の先、5－10分ほど小道を進んだ所にあります。
手間からウッコ→アッカ→パハの順に並んでいて、遊歩道を使って時計回りでウッコ→アッカ→パハの順にまわることもできますし、パハ→アッカ→ウッコの順にもアクセスできます。
最初、丘（フィンランド語でコリ) を上がった後はほとんどアップダウンがないため、初心者でも簡単にアクセス可能。
日本語ガイドでは「パハ展望台」と書いてありますが、日本のように柵のようなものがあるわけではなく、見通しのよい「ただの岩場」です。
（しかもGoogleマップなどでは地点表示されないのでなかなか 「着いた！」という確信が持てないかもしれません・・・）
しかし、整備されていない分眺望は最高です！
ピエリネン湖も森も岩場も絶妙なバランスで見渡すことができ、我が家では「パハが一番！」と全会一致でした。
各コリ間は遊歩道、階段が有るので簡単に往来可能ですが展望台自体はどこも”大きな岩”の上から眼下を見下ろすスタイルなので、滑り止め効果のある靴の方が最後、岩に登って１段高いところから景色が見られてオススメです。
