What time are you arriving into King Street Station? If you have a Sleeping Car, - as in a Roomette or Bedroom - when we travelled from Seattle to San Francisco the ticket also included all meals. We were able to get up and dressed early, had breakfast on the Train before getting off. Do that if you can, even if you have to pay for it. Then take your luggage straight to the hotel and you have the rest of the day free. Hope that helps.

There is an Embassy Suites very close to King Street Station. If you Google it, you will see that it is a minute walk.

Hi- if you have luggage to be placed in luggage car then you need to give yourself at least 45 minutes prior to departure. We then had to stand in a separate line to show our passport and get a seat assignment. Depends where you are going. Better to give yourself extra time..

Yes, as well as Uber is easily accessible from there... we used Uber all over and were very pleased.

There is a taxi queue just outside the station, and Lyft is a great option as well. You won't have any difficulty getting either.
