This place is the bomb!

This restaurant ended up being one of our favorites of our trip. We love the beerhall set up of sharing tables (sort of) and just the atmosphere of the place. I felt like I was in Germany! The food menu is great and I had the steak salad and it was downright delicious. My husband had a Seattle hotdog and he loved it. Said the hotdog was more than just your standard hotdog. I think they get them from a local place. Its just the details of it all, well presented and flavors thought-out. We also enjoyed two beers and would come back just for that. Can't wait to visit Seattle again and come back here.

Great food and beer

Queen Anne Beerhall had the best beer and sandwiches. The tables were also spaced appropriately so it was comfortable eating inside. The service was great and our waiter had some great suggestions for beer and food. We ordered the Rueben and it was delicious. Our youngest son had the chicken and waffles. We all kept eating off his plate it was so good. This was a great place to stop for lunch. I highly recommend it.

Awesome food, great service and a cool building. This place is the perfect beerhall. Delicious bratwurst and the biggest pretzel I’ve ever had. Great selection of beers as well.

This place has the right attitude

It is big and it is loud but that is what is should be--it is a beer hall. The beer menu is good, the Bavarian-leaning food choices are tasty (I really liked my Sausage Crunch Roll and you must have a Bavarian Soft Pretzel with the Liptauer Cheese and Stone Mustard) and our server could not have been more pleasant and helpful. This is a place for fun and it is a place where a larger group can laugh and enjoy themselves. If you in the mood for an upbeat atmosphere, come by here and you most likely will leave with a smile on your face. Check out my photos for more details.

This expensive HAL was kind enough to host the 49ers away pre-game celebration. It was raucous and packed. But the Beer cold and food warm. The staff was overworked but they did a great job. Thanks to one and all.

Great beer and food, awfully slow

I so want to love this place. The beer is superb, food good, and the space is beautiful. But OMG is service slow. Tonight it took over 15 minutes to get the first round. There is ONE bartender and when a barrel went out everything stopped. In a beer hall! Overall it took 2.5 hours for two rounds, dinner and a dessert. Not that we were in a rush, it was simply a ridiculously long wait for service. The issue seems to be understaffing and a lackadaisical attitude. This isn’t the first time we’ve experienced this here. Too bad.

Going downhill fast

Very disappointing. Took server 3 attempts to provide a menu, and even then failed to provide the special beer menu.

Food was served on a cold plate, no attempt at presentation and was cold upon arrival and swimming in oil/grease. I really should have sent to back.

Service was painfully slow, beer took an age to arrive, server disappeared for long periods of time, that cost them a further beer and desert order. Check took an age to arrive when requested.

All in all a substandard experience and so disappointing to see how the experience can go from good to bad in 6 months. I ate here in March and the food was beautifully presented and tasty.

Advice stick to the beer, avoid cooked food, particularly the steak frites at this location.

If you want a German beerhall experience in Seattle, Rheinhaus is a better option.

Nice Atmosphere, Needs More Cider

A work colleague and I popped into the Beerhall for a drink after touring MoPop. The atmosphere is nice, the room cavernous with plenty of seating at the long common tables. on the back wall is a long bar.

The beer selection here is nice and my buddy found a good brew to try. But I don't drink beer, instead I prefer cider. And while they did have one on tap that was decent, it would have been nice to have more selection. On the bottled lambic and cider section of the beer menu, of the eight or so choices listed, only one was a cider.

There is a craft cider revolution happening in Washington, and it would behoove businesses like the QA Beerhall to expand their offerings, as cider enthusiasts such as myself are starting to make our dining choices based on availability of cider, both quantity and quality.

Great Hidden Spot!

Was staying in the hotel next door and needed to find late night food. Stumbled upon this beerhall and had a great time. Awesome selection of beer and the brats from the grill were yummy. Grill is cash only for some reason.

We visited 1 night for happy hour and had the duck meatballs and Bavarian pretzel- so delish!!

Came back the 2nd night to enjoy the Pan seared duck breast and wiener schnitzel

Such a cool atmosphere
