Rangers are wonderful and very knowledgable. There is also a mini museum inside. I always start at a visitors center when it's my first time visiting. They are invaluable. If it wasn't for this visit, I would not have known about the walking tour a ranger will be doing in the afternoon. And the tour was wonderful and very informative.

Walk the whole grounds of the The textile Mills that are part of our American History. Understanding the importance of this industry in Americans every day life. Highly recommended. Hope to see it when the national park is complete..

Great place to stop at and pick up valuable information. The National Park folks do a great job of providing suggestions and information to all guests. While there they have a small display of Lowell history as well as a gift shop with plenty of souvenir options. They also have rest rooms for those who need it. By the way, another bit of interesting information is that of you park there it is for free. Feel free to sign up for their guided walks as well if you like.

This historic park illuminates a little known part of American history in a spread out campus of historic buildings. The mill girls exhibit was particularly good. I’d recommend some of the excellent books in museum shop for young readers.

Very friendly staff, and near trolley stop. A few exhibits, informative. Small store but has a good variety of items. Clean restrooms.

Very good introduction to the history of Lowell and its place in the industrialization of the country. They advise you on the different sites to visit. Do not miss the excursion on the canals.

The staff at the Lowell National Historical Park visitor center are very helpful to you in getting your bearing before heading out to the historical attractions in the park and old downtown Lowell. Here, you also can sign up for canal boat tours, and catch the trolley that loops around the various sites.

We looked through the exhibits relating to Lowell including the Mill Girls, Jack Kerouac and the various immigrant groups that settled in the area. There was a short film which provided an overview of the history of the city.
