It was a pretty theater, but more interesting for its historic value than its comfort. SeatGeek didn't do a good job of showing how poor the visibility is from the upper balcony. The charge for the "privilege" of getting in early to go to the lounge was way too high. Parking is costly and hard to get out of when the show is over. My suggestion is go for a matinee and do not spend too much. I hope they have the sense to open up the longue for all - who knows, I might have bought drinks and food, but the one price to get in was too high.

My wife, daughter and I attended a performance of 'Twas the Night, presented by one of the Cirque du Soleil troupes. I loved the classical appearance of the theater. The lobby area reminded me of some of the European opera houses. We sat in the orchestra area, which was enormous. The seats were pretty comfortable, and the legroom was reasonable. My only complaint is that the theater has to use Ticketmaster for getting tickets, so the surcharges were very high.

The Fox Atlanta is a first rate venue. It is well maintained and staffed. It hosts major shows for the city of Atlanta. The only problem I have with this theater is they don’t start shows on time. I have attended several different shows in 2023 and 2024. Not one started on time. The general and stage manager are severely lacking in time management skills. Today I attended Lion King and it started 14 minutes late.

I went to go see the Lion King at the Fox theatre in Atlanta October 5 and it was amazing. My section offered a great view. They have popcorn and drinks available. The acoustics inside was great. Lightning was great. The play was amazing - nostalgic. Most of the songs from the movie. A few new songs. I was on the edge of my seat, like a little girl - mouth agape and applauding after every scene. They do take it seriously about taking pictures and videos. The people that seat you sit in the aisles to monitor for this and stop it. I would definitely recommend this play to attend for kids to adults!

Went on Sunday afternoon to see the movie Casa Blanca. The theater was clean, carpets not worn, and definitely a 1920's vibe and decor. Open seating for this event, which was great! My only issue was that I paid $13 to park in the gold lot (600 Peachtree St. NE), which was about 2 blocks away. I didn't know that it was underground parking for a bank! I drove past the entrance and had to circle back, which wasn't easy because of one-way streets. The sign for Gold Parking was sideways at the bottom of the ramp so it couldn't be seen from the street. I got a beep when I showed my QR code, but nothing happened. I pushed the button for a ticket and the gate opened. I thought I'd have to pay again when I left but that wasn't the case, thank goodness! I could have parked at a public lot for less hassle and less money on a Sunday afternoon.

We saw Shrek the Musical for our first event at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The midtown area has many restaurants nearby to enjoy before or after. We parked in the purple lot in the Coda building which is the furthest away of the Fox lots. We did not reserve ahead of time as the show was not full and paid the attendant at the gate. This lot was cheaper but also felt safe in a nice building.
The theatre is amazing with the blue roof that feels like the night sky. Our seats were about midway up the upper seating area and gave a great view of the stage. It was easy to navigate and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

I am going to the Fox for the first time and was wondering what is best for parking? Do they offer valet, and is there anything I should know about valet? Also, do they have elevators and stairs to get to the different levels?

I did not drive to the theater . I took an Uber.
There is a small parking lot right next to the theater on Peachtree Street with an attendant. I do not know the price for parking there.
There is also a parking deck one block north of Peachtree Street and a short walk to the theater.
I did not see an elevator inside the theater but there are stairs to get to the different levels.

I am going to see Wicked tonight, It is an 8:00 show. Would I be out of place wearing a nice top and a pair of slacks. I bought a dress to wear but am just not convinced it is what I should wear.

What is the best way to get a bargain on tickets for Wicked? I'm seeing them for two and three hundred dollars. Is that typical? Surely there is some secret to finding a great deal!! I so want to take my granddaughter and daughter before it leaves Atlanta.

Shows are so expensive now but call the Hilton and ask for the concierge and ask them if they can get you tickets at a better price!

Behind loge in the balcony has the lowest priced seats. This is called First Dress Circle. Orchestra on main floor from AA toward the back Center has great prices as well. Enjoy!!!
