This is a nice museum but it is a bit overpriced for the content it provides. Buy the ticket online it is $2 cheaper per person. The exhibits are very artificial to my taste, but it has kids corners so for families with small kids this is ideal. Outside is nice but if the weather is bad you cannot enjoy. Parking is free that’s a plus.

This is a hidden gem. The beehive is so interesting so you can see the bees coming and going and the planetarium show was amazing. Get your pressed penny here as well! So many neat exhibits!

it said it's free admission, but it's closed due to COVID, but the staff said we can tour the garden, however, there is not much to see in the garden, so disappointed.

Don’t trust the hours posted here. Went on a Thursday at 12:30 and they were closed. No signs posted.
Also, if you have been to other Science Centers this one looks really small.

Went to all the planetarium shows last year it was amazing! I enjoyed the star show and the huge screens. I advise if you can make it to go on a day where there's a show. The exhibits of animals are cool and the beehive is very nice. Fern bank never fails to disappoint! It's free to enter but the shows cost some money I feel like only 5 dollars.

Truly enjoyed this museum.
Wasn’t sure what to expect but it didn’t disappoint. Doesn’t take too much time to get through, really just depends on your interest level.
Had to give a four star rating because when we went to the cafeteria, everything I ordered, they didn’t have. So there’s that...

We have loved this place for years and years. Its quaint and dated and fascinating. A family favorite. It was a much better experience before the Fernbank Natural History Museum illegally stole access to the woods from the people of the county to whom the woods were left. Their educational arm is also very good, giving in-depth access to terrific science programs.

There is a one star review from January and I absolutely don't understand why. This is a full day of fun if you have kids along. So much to do. The Imax movies are always great. The live science show is a kid favorite and this place is packed with hands on areas. Adults will find a real array of exhibits to see and read. A must see!

We were thinking of different things to do on a Friday night and this popped up. It has been 20 years since we saw a show at the Planetarium. This is a great, inexpensive and educational opportunity. We saw the Auroras show. What a wonder.
it was finally a clear night, so got to go out and look through the amazing telescope.

I don't recall any place there where you could bring a picnic lunch. If you are from around here and know the area you could go over by Emory University on North Decatur Road. A fun noodle place at 1556 North Decatur Rd. You will have to drive.
