Generator noises

No quiet time rules. Asked the owner, said its private park can do what they want.
Generator running 20-22 hours a day.
Our last night there 2 generators running until 4:00am.
I got out of bed and asked if they could turn it off & they did thanks goodness! It was about 25-30 feet from my camper. There was still another generator going a couple of campsite down still running.
When I saw the owner again I told him about it, he said he don’t see a problem with generator on 4am in the morning.
Not a camp ground for enjoy the quietness of nature.

Didn't get to Stay

Our fault - we didn't reserve in advance but honestly apart from the location it didn't look that exciting. Very few treed lots and really small lots for the most part. The office was closed for lunch so we waited around with the hope we could book in for an evening - seeing there were quite a few vacant spots. A lady with motor home ahead of us was also waiting for the return from lunch and had made a reservation weeks prior. When the office opened - late - we were informed there was nothing available. Odd, it didn't look booked up but who knows? The lady with the motor home was informed the spot she had reserved was not available and she would have to take a much smaller, less impressive site. She was quite tee' d off to put it mildly. They did offer us the "overflow" - a small parking lot off to the side for half price - with no services or trees so we declined and drove on.

A great place for camping

A great place to camp, swim and have a BBQ. I have visited many times, almost once every year. It's about 25 km from the Argentia Ferry.
