Tucked in between the Art Museum of South Texas, the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, and the American Bank Center Convention Center, this free, small, and pleasant park lies almost in the shadows of Harbor Bridge. Its spacious 25 acres (10 ha) of lawns made a great-looking place for a picnic but I saw no picnic area, no BBQ grills, and no pits. It had a pavilion and a circular water garden with 150 fountains and shallow water good for wading in warm weather. I most liked the park’s nearness to major local attractions. I least liked the lack of signs in the area to direct visitors to it.
