You can see this bridge in the distance, as you are about the reach the city if travelling from Austin for example and it is a great representation of the city: beautiful, strong and well maintained.
We used it several times, crossing it from our hotel near Padre Island to visit the Aquarium and USS Lexington nearby.

The bridge goes up on one end and down on the other end. We are still looking for a bridge that only goes up but does not go down.

We were in Corpus 3 nights and it did not light up at all. Who does that? Especially on a holiday weekend…..

They are about 1/3rd done with the new super bridge, at night the lights are great. Cant wait to drive over the new one !!

Was i town on March 17 2022 and drove over the bridge to see the view of the bay and was not disappointed. Very cool

We drove by several times several times and enjoyed the city.

We seen this bridge on our walk along the beach. Beautiful bridge to the gateway of Corpus Christi with lots of traffic going across.

Looks cool at night with the lights but it is built odd to me... old and straight up. Gets crowded when people are getting off work at the plants or something is going on in the area like a rodeo or baseball game.

Not working, half the lights are broken. It’s a shame, it’s a nice area to hang out at night, but it’s run down.

The bridge is always open !!!!!!!!!
What time on Sunday is the Harbor Bridge open to walk across , and or ride bike across . Of course , not noticing any signs prohibiting riding bike across , i suppose its always open to ride bike acros s , i walked my bike cross a few weeks ago using the side / walk ; very tight almost not possible .

We drove across the bridge and it was raining pretty hard. I thought I saw a pedestrian path for people to walk and peruse. Hopefully this helps, but no one was walking the day we were there.

We park at, Heritage Park, there is a sidewalk on both sides separated by a concrete wall. We did enjoy the view, it really was workout event for me, once a month they have a group of people who walk across .
