These people care about quality and their customers. While on vacation, I stopped in to ask them to repair my old beaded "FUQK CANCER" bracelet, which had started unraveling. This cherished object was a gift from a friend. I had worn it through diagnosis, surgery, chemo and recovery; everyday for three years.
The person behind the counter listened to my story. She explained to me that it was Labor Day weekend and they were very busy. She offered to repair it when she could. She then suddenly changed her mind and smiled. She said, "be back in an hour and it will be done." She could see the relief and happiness this brought me. She truly was empathetic.
True to her word, one hour later, despite being very busy, she had completely rethreaded the bracelet with double-elastic bead string. It was better than new.
I am so grateful. This store deserves your business because they care. They are in business for the love of their work and money, as it should be, is a by product of their success.

Stopped in a few times and always lots of fun. Had to get a few beaded bracelets restrung and they were very helpful in helping me put them back together.

Lots of beads, but not a lot of unique beads. If they offered daily bracelet classes, we would have definitely taken one! But, they didn't and we don't know how to make them without some guidance so we passed on purchasing. Nice to browse.

I went on Saturday it's a nice shop but nothing to unusual save yourself sales tax and buy locally.

very clean and organized. lots to pick and choose from. all beads and findings are sold singularly, instead of on a strand, which i personally liked because then you can buy what you need. other things like bead boards and string are priced normally priced.staff was knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. i would recommened to anyone who makes jewerly and plan on going back

Très jolie ville avec plein de boutiques sur les sorcières et les zombies le seul soucis a été le guide qui ne parlait pas Français et mon fils de 11 ans n a rien comprit moi non plus d ailleurs mais sinon très jolie ville.On peut la visiter en suivant la ligne rouge trace sur le sol elle parcours tous les monuments et tous ce qu il y a a voir la bas Le trajet de Boston a Salem fait en férie était super sympa vraiment avec un couché du soleil juste magnifique. Le milkshak est un vrai régale.

Really nice selection of beads at good prices. They even do a 15% discount for college students. As you would expect from any good bead shop they also have cord, charms and findings although I didn't spend much time looking in that section. The shop assistant was lovely but she wasn't able to tell me what some of the unlabelled gemstone beads were which is the reason I haven't given 5 stars.
Well worth a visit for any beaders :)

The Boston Bead Company on the Salem walking mall is a beader's delight! In addition to buying a finished product, I bought several different types of beads for a beading friend. I especially like the animal charms -- we're always keeping an eye out for those! The staff is friendly and helpful. Be aware that you must purchase over $10 to use your credit card.
