It a nice place to stop and grab a couple photos. There are some informative sign boards that talk about the Roosevelt Dam and Bridge. It's the start of the Apache Trail, so if you're beginning that trip it's a good spot to stretch your legs.

Helpful place to understand what you see in the rest of the valley

We took a short detour off the main road to visit this overlook, and gained an understanding of why a dam was built, why the big bridge was built, and other information about this area we'd never have learned had we not stopped. It's well worth the little bit of time to stop in here.
