Yes. Through out the whole year the ocean water is warm enough to swim.

We just did the North Shore tour. There was time for snorkeling with the turtles. We also did Hanauma Bay but on a different day. I feel it would be too rushed to do both on the same day, unless you just want a very quick look. Go with Bo if you can...awesome young guy with heaps of local knowledge!

Hi Thanks for your enquiry We booked through an agency in Hawaii. I think I gave the name in my revue.I think it could have been called Affordable tours and they had a kiosk on the street Cant remember exact price but think it was around $USA 80 each. It included transport from a pickup near our hotel (Halekulani) and several stops to see turtles and to swim and snorkel for an hour. Snorkels and masks provided but not fins.A lunch stop was included at a shrimp shack and was good.I can't remember if we paid extra for that but it would have been inexpensive. The commentary from Frank was just right. Informative but not opinionated. We were lucky to have a good group on our bus (about 20 people) and so we all had a good time with some jokes, poems and singing thrown in. There was no pressure to join in if you are not into that. The tour itself is well worth while and was the best value of any tour we did whilst there.Not everyone snorkelled but were able to enjoy the stops and most people unless really disabled would be able to enjoy this tour.
