Lovely little family owned winery with great variety of reds. I loved the Stateline Red and Estate Cab. Lovely patio seating.

First of all this place has delicious wine. But the best part is the friendliness and unpretentiousness of the owner/farmer/winemaker. There is no tasting fee but a jar for donations to the local food bank. It’s that kind of place. Oh, and have I mentioned the nice wine? Visit and support this wonderful place.

I am forever indebted to the person who recommended we visit this winery. Charming family-run operation and the wines are absolutely wonderful, with the winemakers refreshingly devoid of snobbery.

This is a lovely winery to visit - estate grown, family owned, nice tasting room, delicious wines. It's one of our favorites in Walla Walla. Because it's smaller, the service is excellent.

Come to try the wine and stay for the company. Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly we always make this is stop on our annual visit to Walla Walla. And, we can never leave without buying wine, usually lots of it. Especially the Obligatory Syrah, delicious.

If you ask any 10 people in Walla Walla what's their 3 favorite wineries, you'll probably get 25 different places. We heard Gillford Hirland the most. Our visit here was super with a 100% chance of having the owners pouring a free tasting (donation to the food bank is reccomend). The state line red is a good everyday wine. Note they have limited days that the tasting room is open.

We really enjoyed this winery. The wines were delicious, but it was the atmosphere created by the owner that really made our experience as positive as it was. We learned a lot about the winery and the region and all about the various wines we tasted. Excellent customer service - it appears that the owner and his wife work extremely hard to create such great wines and an enjoyable tasting experience for their customers. We have visited many wineries in the area and there are very few that can compare to the level of customer care than this one - the wines were also excellent. We will visit again.

Just donate to the food bank. This winery has the only acre of Pinot Gris grapes in the Walla Walla region. Located just off of state line about 15 min from the center of Walla Walla is this fabulous winery worth the visit.

In operation since 2004 & already turning out some excellent wines. Like most wineries in Walla Walla prices tend to be higher than other regions of the country. That may be because they know their craft. The red blend is very affordable and tasty. The other wines are great but a little out of my budget.. The really neat thing about this winery is their history of how they turned a chicken ranch and blackberry farm into a great winery! If you catch Mike in the tasting room you'll be lucky...he loves his business and has great stories about world travelling Spain!

Rarely in WW do you get to do your tasting with the Vintner, After 2 days of 12 tastings this was the best in WW. Humble knowledge of the wines, industry etc was greatly appreciated. Stayed open late on a Sunday. Fair price points, great wines. Check out Amavi and March close by as well.
