Pretty good wine. Hostess Pasadena young lady discussion was very informative. Would visit again. Walla Walla a burgeoning wine country.

We were directed here by the kind gent at Fort Walla Walla who told us to ask about the story that goes with the founder.
We were asked if we wanted to start with whites or reds and picked reds. Unbeknownst to us, they only had two reds to pour! Obviously the tasting went quickly. We asked about the story, which was awesome and worth the stop. Wished there had been more of an opportunity to hang out.

Truth be told, I've been a member of the Otis Kenyon wine club for 5 or 6 years. They simply make great wine year after year. Their syrahs are always great, as is their carmenere (if you're lucky enough to get some). The tasting room is simple and unassuming, but that just makes the wine shine even more. Stop in and try some amazing Walla Walla wine! And ask them to tell you the history of Otis Kenyon, it's a great story.

We visited Otis Kenyon as part of our weekend adventures. The tasting room is in downtown Walla Walla, across from Starbucks and next door to Olive restaurant (which is also worth visiting).
My only real criticism is that the tasting room was a bit sparse, but this was more than compensated for by Sarah, the wine rep who poured us 4 glasses and who knew a lot about the wines we were tasting. We had a hard time deciding between the cabernet sauvignon and the petit verdot. They were both delicious. The Matchless red is good too, and is in the lower price range.
If you visit, ask about the story of Matchless red and the burned labels. It's a family story best heard in person over a glass of good wine. You will not regret it.
