Successful Surfing for the whole family

Had the best time learning how to surf. We had 4 kids all try surfing for the first time and all were successful riding the waves like pros. Weligama Bay is the perfect spot for the beach relaxing and surfing all hours of the day. Had a great time.

Pradeep had a great team teaching us and was great to work with.

2nd visit of Sri Lanka with Pradeep, definitelly can not complain!

We came back after 2 years and used Weligama Wurf Tours for our trips and transfers and everything was perfect. Pradeep´s services are not the cheapest ones but very reliable, always on time and safe. And that´s what matters when you´re on vacation...

Pradeep like a member of the family!

From start to finish Pradeep was more like a member of the family then a tour guide. He was professional and easy to set up the itinerary we wanted. We communicated during messenger and video chat. His pricing was more then reasonable. He was always on time and ready for the day! We did a four day tour which involved airport transfers and squeezing in as many sites as we could. My two sons enjoyed him. Overall this was a phenomenal vacation! I would not hesitate to book him again and to refer him to friends and family. We stayed at the Marriott Weligama Beach which is over two hours from the airport and he and his driver made us feel safe and secure. They are used to dealing with families snd can make changes as needed for washroom breaks, food and drinks. I am happy to answer any questions. In particular the day safari to Udawalawe National Park was the best! We saw over 60 elephants, peacocks, water buffalo, birds, and more all up close. Pradeep hired an expert driver/guide that ensured we had a great day! If you’re going to Sri Lanka hire Pradeep you won’t be disappointed!

This was my THIRD VISIT with Pradeep to Welligama. I had no prior experience of surfing. Not only can I surf well by myself now.. I am also totally addicted to the sport and will definitely plan to return again here..hopefully to teach by daughter one day also!
While you may find many surfing schools here, and they may be cheaper also, I have always booked with Pradeep because he personally knows many instructors. In peak season, some instructors may book multiple sessions with clients and will not give you time or disappear. In off season you might not find someone if you go looking. If you book ahead with Pradeep you will definitely be able to get lessons, on time without any hassle. The instructions will be straight forward and tailored to your needs. With limited lessons I was quite comfortable in tackling the waves. I also rented out boards for myself without any hassles about pricing or time. All of the staff were really nice, welcoming and polite.

Pradeep also arranged our pick up and drop off to the airport. He even adjusted to some last minute travel changes that were due to a fault at my end. This is really key if you are going with a family.

(yes he really is on time, every time!)

Most importantly he arranges everything with a personal touch and treats you like family. I have been to his home a couple of time for drinks. Both he and his wife also engage in many charitable activities and its really great to see that.

I have recommended him to many friends and family and certainly will
go again!

Amazing guide and storyteller

My friend and I recently had a trip to Udawalawe Park with Pradeep, and he made sure to accommodate every tiny detail just to make sure the trip was perfect. Safari was a 10/10 and the experience we got was amazing. He also took us to a restaurant where we got to eat some great local food, and on the way back he told us many interesting stories about Buddhism, other national parks in Sri Lanka, tsunami disaster of 2004, etc.

We will definitely make sure to do other activities and tours with Pradeep once we come back to Sri Lanka for a 2nd visit, as he has many other options to choose from as well.

Amazing safari!

We had an amazing time on the safari through Udawalawe National Park. The tour guide took excellent care of us - driving us safely to the park and then bringing us to a breakfast spot afterwards. The safari itself was amazing, we did the morning session and saw an incredible amount of wildlife. The safari tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great eye, stopping frequently to point out birds and animals and giving us some background information on each. The tour lasted about two and a half hours which we found to be perfect. Would highly recommend!
