A very good selection of ICELANDIC design, food, books, kids stuff with a very interesting museum on the upper floors. You should not miss it if you are visiting the region.

This place has an amazing little museum in the second and third floor, with everything that gave old Iceland it's charisma.
The ground floor has a shop that sells very nice gift items. It serves at the same time as a nice little coffeehouse offering drinks and food.

We were staying in town and decided to walk around. We came upon this place and had a walk through. It was $5 per adult to go upstairs to the museum but was fun and that included a cup of coffee too and in iceland, that made the museum pretty much free. Old photos of town and lots of artifacts. Needs more development for 5 stars but was a nice 30 min or so.

Die Ausstellung im ersten Stock dieses alten Handels- und Lagerhauses gibt einen Eindruck in die Zeit des Handels und Aufstieg dieser Gegend - durchaus einen kurzen Abstecher wert. Der erste Stock ist ein Laden und kleines Kaffe, mehrheitlich lokal gestrickte Wollenpullover.
