Beautiful beach, beautiful cafes, Stunning Scenery!
Came for a day by the beach after our City break in Sydney and wow what a find couldn’t say a single bad word about the place!
Clean tidy friendly people and the sea was insane!

Considerando che siamo in una città popolosa, Balmoral Beach è sorprendentemente bella. Nonostante l'affollamento, la spiaggia è immacolata, cosa che in genere non si riscontrerebbe altrove. Toilette con docce anche calde, tutte pulitissime, sono numerose. Parcheggiare l'auto è sicuramente problematico, ma la relativa scarsità di posti disponibili ha il vantaggio di limitare l'affollamento. Comunque, si può arrivare in autobus (due linee). Almeno quattro locali offrono cibo anche da asporto di buona qualità.

Top-rated family beaches, some sheltered more than others with lots of activities- swimming in calm, blue waters near white sands, building sand castles, walks along the promenade, fishing and boat ride. Parking may be a problem, but that should not discourage anybody—lots of restaurants and eateries to suit everyone's tastes.

Lovely beach with no big waves. Great for families.

Nice beach with good cafes and walking. Easy to go snorkelling. Major problem is the crowds and hard to get parking.

What an amazing little bay with a pristine beach. Breakfast here looking at the post sunrise bay, feels so peaceful.

It's vibrant with people out walking and a real social scene for people with dogs.

It really is a lovely place.

Parking is too expensive.

Parking is so expensive. How can pensioners afford such a expensive parking.9 dollars and hour.Councel should put the parking fees down.
Councel earnes so much money.That they can't afford to put a bbq area .
Some areas smell of poo or something .
I think the councel should put some more toilets.
But please put the parking fees down.Its so expensive.
It is a lovely beach except for the parking fees.

What a fantastic setting - had great F&Chips and the best view - how lucky we are to be able to do this for free, apart from the parking - next time I'm parking up the hill and catching bus down

Beautiful Harbour Views with Safe Swimming

This Sydney Harbourside beach is a real gem. Perfect for families with safe swimming, playground, grassy park areas and food options. Also great for walking and flat, well maintained footpaths and plenty of shade make it easily accessible for wheelchairs, walkers and those whose mobility may be not as good as it once was. Plenty of parking but that can be expensive if there for a few hours. Perfect picnic spot but don't eat right near the water's edge as the seagulls are feral and aggressive.

I lived in Sydney for 10 years and I spent most of my time at Balmoral after living there when I was 5 to 6and spending every weekend there Balmoral is truly magical with a great jetty for jumping and enclosed area to swim without having to fear the sharks trust me they are there! Balmoral is the best bay beach in Sydney.
