Worth the visit

Great place for a lot of information about the region, especially love the hiking route guide book. There are so many marked routes in the region.

Lyngenfjordissa sijaitsee benjihyppysilta, joka on 115 m korkeudella kapean solan pohjalla kulkevasta joesta. Sillan välittömässä läheisyydessä on n. sillan korkuinen vesiputous, jossa virtaa paljon vettä ja joka laskee suoraan solan pohjalle. Vesien ollessa matalalla vesiputoukseen laskevan kosken pohjalle on mahdollista laskeutua ja kävellä yläjuoksun suuntaan. P-paikalta sillalle on n. 2 km patikointi helppoa reittiä. Vuorille nouseva tie jonka varrella silta sijaitsee on myös ainoa tie jota pääsee ajamalla Haltille.

The accommodation is clean and neat. Scenery was even better and food was great. This is a nice place to stay For viewing for northern lights.

Ice Fishing in Lyngen

We were a group of 7 people for ice fishing in Lyngen (at Xlyngen). The day before the activity we were contacted to ask to postpone the activity due to bad weather (although it was sunny and no wind). We also had some friends who booked snowmobile in Lyngen who received an email the night before to postpone the activity because of a funeral. Overall, the people organising the activities are nice and friendly. However we did not think this activity was worth the price. We did not catch any fish and the activity was not very interesting because the guide did not give us some information. The activity did not last very long. We were picked up by a snowmobile (there was a sledge attach to it) and had to make 2 trips with 1 snowmobile. We thought they could have prepared two snowmobiles so that the whole group could move together and not have to wait for the rest of the group.

We did dog sledding at Camp Tamok, Tom Frode was a great host and his dogs are so lovely!! We didn’t have enough time to do more activities, i’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Boring Reindeer Sledding

I thought that's old Reindeer, and just walk golf course. If your imagine that's like Santa Claus and drive Reindeer to run. You must disappointed.

Marvellous and friendly host. Warmly welcomed by Carlos and Jens.
Great experience with the moose safari.
Cabin is clean, well equipped with all home appliance and comfortable.

Great view of northern lights. However, it is too close to the coast, so it can be too windy.
