It is a very nice beach; but I had a very bad experience this last time I visited it because when I left the car in the park you would think it is safe and it turned out not to be, I was hit by the car and the driver with all of La Paz fled as the guards or account were given and the answer is that the parking has no policy and are not responsible. So you have to be careful as they make you leave your vehicle and no one is responsible for the damage. Too bad for users, the government should require them to provide all coverage for any event that may happen.

Hermosa playa apta para niños y adultos simplemente facinante no posee oleaje por lo tanto se disfruta con tranquilidad, limpia, con fácil acceso posen tralado en autobus, rampas para adultos y personas con discacapacida hay opción de realizar otras actividades en la playa, y con variedad de fauna presente.

Located in the Province of Guanacaste, this small and quiet beach has moderate, gentle waves. Suitable for swimming, the water is calm and clean. There's also some birds and monkeys in the trees.
The north section of Playa Nacascolo has a beach house owned by the Andaz Costa Rica Resort. There you can have Tico cuisine for breakfast, lunch or snacks. This casual and friendly environment is worth checking out. Loved their seabass tacos which were full of fresh fish and tasty filling. Outside guests are welcome to dine here and enjoy the beach by purchasing a Day Pass at the resort’s front desk. The beach house is 15 minutes away from the resort by using their shuttle. Shuttles leave the resort every 30 minutes during the day.

Acceso mediante pasarelas de madera y buenas instalaciones. Pueden verse pizotes y algunos animales. Los monos solamente los oímos.

You have to leave your car at the free parking at the entry of the peninsula. Then a bus will drive you.
Playa Nacascolo is the first beach at the entry of peninsula. You can continue with another bus until playa Blanca which is wonderful.
There is always a peace of white sand even if tide is up. You can see a lot of fish in the water, just snorkeling. There are trees for giving shadow.
There is few people because there are 600 stairs to access the beach.
You have to bring your own food and drink because there is no restaurant or bar on the beach.
You have a nice view on the bay in front of Panama and Hermosa playas.
The last bus to move back to the car is at 5pm.

Nos pareció la mejor playa de Costa Rica. Es simplemente espectacular!! Según estábamos accediendo nos encontramos un pizote en las duchas, y luego vimos varios más, y varios monos carablanca muy cerca. Fue fantástico!
Se puede hacer snorkel casi nada más meterte al mar, en una zona bastante amplia en la que ves muchísimos peces de colores, algunos tan curiosos como el pez trompeta.
Esta playa pertenece al grupo de playas del Four Seasons. Por tanto se ubica en una zona privada, pero como las playas en Costa Rica son públicas, están obligados a dejar acceder a todo el mundo a las mismas. Por ello, han habilitado un parking donde se deja el coche antes de entrar al resort, y una serie de autobuses gratuitos que van haciendo rutas por el complejo para llevar a las personas a las diferentes playas.
La playa Nacascolo es la más accesible de las playas del Four Seasons y en nuestra opinión, la más bonita. Vimos 3 de las 4 playas que se pueden visitar (Nacascolo, Playa Virador y Playa Blanca). Las otras tienen bastantes escalones para acceder, mientras que Nacascolo sólo tiene una rampa corta.

La playa es muy bonita, todo espectacular; Sin embargo, en época donde hay mucho viento (diciembre y enero) en casi toda la playa hay agua malas las cuales pican fuerte y no se puede nadar o snorkel:(

Fui en setiembre anterior y volví en enero, la diferencia fue bastante, había mucho viento por lo que estas vez si hubo olas y corrientes, la marea llegó mucho mas hacia la playa.
Se vieron menos pizotes y no hubo monos.
Se hizo snorkel en el mar pero muy pocos peces, en el sector rocoso por la entrada sí se pudo observar más cantidad y variedad, pero el problema fue el oleaje.
