Situated in one hour away drive from the old city, this is not a popular tourist destination.
However, if you're looking for a unique experience with personal touch, don't miss this out!
Spiros is such a cool guy that he made this museum by himself, and he gives a private tour just for you.
There were also one family visiting the museum at that time. Spiros recited one of his poems and gave a copy to their daughter. They were so nice that they even explained exhibits to me in English, together with Spiros.
There's something that makes everyone smile. I experienced Greek hospitality here. This is one of my most fond memories in my trip.

Interesting mixture of Greek mythology, folklore, old stones and personal anecdotes.
The owner gives you a free visit of the museum which he built by his own from scratch. Free entrance but a small donation is welcome

Simply an amazing experience. The owner of the House/museum welcomed us into his house. So charismatic, sweet and knowledgeable. Private tour of the house free of charge. We gave a donation afterwards and Spyro was very grateful. One of a kind experience.

Free entry to this very interesting tour. this little museum full of surprises and the owner very welcoming and full of knowledge. His like indiana jones greek version :) donation will help him run this museum

What an unexpected surprise. Accidently drove past this place and decided to see what it was. Spyros met us and invited us to look around. I was fascinated from start to finish with the different exhibits Spyros has collected over the years. I do not want to elaborate because it would spoil the surprise of what is displayed. If you love history, like collections, want to be enthrawled by Spyros's fascinating travels and experiences you will love it here.

The trip to the Cultural Palace was a absolutely unique experience. We were met by a proud, enthusiastic, passionate, friendly and the most hospitable Greek possible, that went above and beyond to show and explain everything that he had within his vast collection of cultural, geographical, political and historical treasures. As a student of history and politics I was astounded and amazed by the vast array of objects, materials and knowledge and was enthused by everything that was included within the collection. It was extremely motivating and deeply touching to be in the presence of such an enthusiastic and motivated individual that clearly loves everything about what Greece's History and culture has to offer, as am I. As a Individual that is learning the Greek Language and is totally captivated by the Greek culture and it's history, it was an great experience to be able to speak with Dr Spyrou about Greece and all of the artifacts in his possession. As you can see from the photos that I have attached to this review, the motivation, enthusiasm, love and dedication that Dr Spyrou has ploughed into the Cultural Palace pours from every corner and is a unique place which must be visited by everyone on their trip to Rhodes!! Thankyou very much my friend, you are a star and a treasure internationally and more importantly to the nation of Greece!!

Wonderful collection of private items divided over 3 sections of the museum. A historical part, with artifacts all over the world, a cultural/art part and a geological part with many minerals, crystals, seashells and stones. We got a personal tour from Mr. Spyros Katsouris who is very passionate in showing everything. I greatly recommend visiting this place.

This wonderful man (Spyros) has created something truly marvelous and awe-inspiring to behold. As practicing students of philosophy and ancient Greek religion, we were blown away by Spyros's hospitality, friendliness and passion for ancient Greek art, culture, and religion as presented in the many fine works of art, paintings, statues, and geological specimens that can be found all over his museum. It was literally like stepping back in time and truly inspired and touched us in ways I cannot even describe. Really an honor and privilege to be able to visit. This museum and this man are such a jewel in the crown of Greek culture and we will be telling everyone we know to go and visit this fantastic place run by an even more fantastic and cultured human being. Can't wait to return and visit with him again. So whenever you travel to Greece/Rhodes, make sure to come to this beautiful place. You will walk away changed, inspired, and truly motivated to make more positive changes in the world. This man surely has!!!! :) :) :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Επισκέφτηκα , το κύριο Σπύρο , στο μουσείο του .
Εντυπωσιακό ,ότι καλύτερο , σε όλη την Ελλάδα.( Ελπίζω , να έρθουν να το Επισκεφτούν και άλλη τοπική άρχοντες και πολιτική..Να καταλάβουμε , τι μεγάλο πλούτο, έχουμε , στο τόπο μας )
