Great place for a walk, especially if you have a dog. You can let it foul over loads of paths used by the public here, or let it foul on the grass. Or you can let it foul, bag it up and leave it on the path, or flick it in the bag into a tree or the hedgerow to hang there. Or let your dog foul, and smear it over the pavement. There's no environment enforcement,and you can be as selfish and inconsiderate as you like. Its probably the best dog toilet in thanet. Its great to spoil this location for all the families and visitors. people might say it's only the minority of dog owners that do this, but the sheer scale and coverage indicates that if you live in or visit broadstairs and own a dog, you are of little consideration or brain.

It's a lovely walk up from Viking Bay through these gardens via the bandstand to Lillyputt's crazy golf. If you're lucky enough to have someone good playing at the bandstand, take a seat with a view to the sea and watch the world go by. It's a lovely place to be.

The walk is quaint and pleasant enough if heading to minigolf, the bandstand or Louisa Bay, but don’t go out of your way if short on time.

Promenade gets busy and in places you have to watch out for dog mess! .Plenty of benches to sit and admire the view gardens well kept

Blustery afternoon walk along cliffs at Viking Bay. A flat walk, well paved, so easily accessible for prams/wheelchairs. Lovely views over the bay and backward to the ornate buildings behind. Would recommend if visiting Broadstairs.

We stayed in Broadstairs for two nights,at Artfuls,so we walked to these pretty gardens a few times,the sun also made an appearance,an added bonus!

As you would expect there was some great views when we went one very sunny day in mid October. It is an attractive walk along an undulating cliff path, lined with pubs, hotels and cafes, with of course the lovely Viking Bay immediately below.

Our visit was greatly enhanced by the Broadstairs Food Festival - the reason we were there but the location alongside the Gardens was great with plentiful seating and views of the sea to enjoy when sampling our purchases. Unfortunately the Dickens Museum wasn't open but great to make a return visit after many decades

Whether strolling or just sitting and watching the rest of the world stroll by, the Victoria Gardens and Promenade are a very pleasant place. If you get hungry or thirsty, there are numerous cafes around. If you sit right at the front of the gardens, there are some very good views across Viking Bay and up to Bleak House.

These are lovely gardens in which to sit (there's plenty of seating available) and relax in the sun. If you want a snack, there are cafes at the back of the gardens and, if you want a walk, there's a good promenade on which you can stretch your legs and, from which, there are some good views of the lovely Viking Bay below. There is no charge to enter the gardens and the gardens, and promenade, are wheelchair and pushchair user friendly.
