Talented, friendly - must see!

Even if you don’t consider yourself an art person, the little gallery is well worth a visit. You can pick up a little momento from your visit to Broadstairs with lots of local paintings, or something completely different, there is a wide range of beautiful art available.

We popped in and there were some lovely pieces although none of them was quite what we were looking for, their response, we can paint it!

We commissioned Vicki who created a very special piece that isn’t only a beautiful picture in its own right, it has a lot of personal meaning for us and so to have this unique piece created just for us makes it very special indeed.

There’s something quite nice about having an original piece of art that also means something to you on your wall rather than a print of something that has been churned out in its thousands.

Vicki was lovely to work with, creating what we wanted but using her expert eye to guide us at the same time and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

The price was not through the roof either, they were correct when they you might be pleasantly surprised on their website.

Beautiful glasswork

Having seen a beautiful glasswork in the window I got in touch with the artist Vicki who had just finished something similar - it was the perfect present for my daughter. So beautiful and unique and something to have forever. A constant memory of swimming in Viking Bay. Thanks so much Vicki.

We came across this little art gallery situated in the main road just off the promenade. The lady who runs the gallery was very friendly and didn’t seem to mind that we were just browsing. There were some nice pieces on display but on this occasion not tempted to buy.

Fascinating

This is a really interesting small art gallery where we have bought a few pictures for our new home in Broadstairs. The prices are acceptable, and the standard good. Would recommend.

We went into the gallery just to have a little look and ....

We had watched a programme called "Home is were the art is" and decided that we would look around galleries rather than buying a print from a shop. We were staying near Broadstairs and noted that there were a number in Broadstairs to look around so headed for the town. We soon came across this tiny gallery. I was keen to go in as the paintings on display looked like the type of art we liked. We went inside but decided that there wasn't anything that we thought would fit into the new colour scheme of our lounge. Vicki over heard us chat and said that she was capable of painting anything in any colour! Well between Vicki and us we came up with the idea and after showing her a rug we had considered buying, she became very excited and could see exactly what she wanted to paint. We chatted about her ideas, paid a deposit and left. Scary moment, we were only taking this risk after watching the tv programme and feeling brave. Well I'm so glad we trusted her. When my husband hung the paintings I cried with happy emotion. The paintings had captured all the colours we wanted plus every happy memory of our time on a beach. Please go and see for yourself, don't take my word for it and I assure you, you will be very glad you did. I just wanted to add this, I've been told that Vicki has been contacted by Home is where the art is, if chosen she will be perfect I'm sure.

Thank you Tracy for your lovely comments about your experience. I truly enjoyed being commissioned to paint your pieces, they were a pleasure to paint. I liked them so much I would have kept them. What a coincidence with the program, I am a little nervous, but very excited! I will let you know when its aired. :)

Delightful art shop, do not just pass and stare at the window display, enter inside and enjoy.

Currently, Broadstairs for a small town just has far too many charity shops in lovely vintage looking store on the high road leading down to the harbour, charity shops are important but not good for too good for a shopping area they need to be housed in one tidy larger store and allow other keen traders to buy or rent the shops to spruce up Broadstairs shopping experience, this will encourage many people to visit the area.

The local Town Hall in Broadstairs need to energies themselves and make progressive changes to elevate peoples shopping experience in Broadstairs, as one good shop helps another and all leads to prosperity.

To the owner, well done..

We recently had a piece of art commissioned as a gift & I cannot rate this gallery highly enough! The art work was stunning, the artist was excellent at keeping in contact & it was such an easy process to get our lovely painting created. Would highly recommend to anyone else!

Thank you for your wonderful portrait about the sea. I'm this moment it'on in front me and I feel calm and light cause of the feeling by the waves. Sorry for my English, I'm Italian! When I was in Broadstairs with my huge teen group, while I was walking to the seaside, in a glance my eyes were captured by the colors of your corner shop. It's warm and shining corner. Thank you for this colorful emotion!
