Nice little park to visit. The tower is in good condition. Not so many of these towers left in Ireland. Worth a visit. The information plaquette is informative, albeit a bit weathered. Could be renewed by city authorities.

It is not in the center, but it is walkable distance, if you feel like it. Nice round tower inside a park.

It is a tower. It is pretty big. There is an information board about it.
At the time of writing this is the 4th best thing to do in Antrim.
I would probably agree with that, maybe even suggest it could rate higher than that.
I would also suggest that this rating has more to do with the lack of competition of things to do in Antrim.
It is after all a big tower. The end.

A superb example of a 10th century round tower which stands almost 30 metres high in a beautiful garden. Definitely worth a visit to get a feel for how life might have been during such a turbulent time and to see where the monks would have retreated to in advance of Viking raids.

Growing up here the round tower was less interesting as a child but can now be appreciated for the stunning building it is and the history it reflects.

The Round Tower itself is interesting to see. However you CNN’s only see the outside if the tower and nothing else to see other than the Witches Stone. I live a few hundred yards away and walk round it a few times every week

Went to see this beautiful and impressive round tower just off the steeple road.Nice bit of history behind it plus local tale of The Witches Tower which added to its appeal.

it looks huge and it's not, and you could quite easily miss the turning and your satnav might make you go into the estate that backs onto it, which isn't terrible but you have to cut through some houses to get there.but given it's quite secluded you can't see it from the road. it's very rapunzel.

Great example of the round tower and witches stone. Good open space in the park. Would be good to develop the area further to make it an even more interesting stop off.
