This place is situated 27km away from porbandar. The road is not that much good. Its 17th century temple. It was saying that lord krishna do worshipped lord shiva here.

Bileshwar Shiva Temple is an ancient temple since early 7th century, situated at a distance of 15 km to the east of Porbandar Bileshwar Shiva Temple is built in Gujarati architecture style. The building of the temple is multi storied, made in pyramid .The Bileshwar Mahadev Mandir is dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to legends, when the army of Mughal Ruler Aurangzeb came to destroy the temple then a poisonous substance known as Bhamra was produced which killed all the soldiers at the temple.

We had a great adventure reaching this temple as we were takig local transport to get to the place. You can take a bus to Ranvav, lots of buses plying here. From here to the temple shared Autos ply every 15-20 mins.
Temple as such is very small , but e found the whole eexperience well worth the effort. It is said that the Nandi of the temple stopped Ghazni from demolishing it. Also has a mythological story of Krishna bein presented the Sudarshan Chakra here.

This is the temple of Lord shiva. An ancient temple of Porbandar. The temple is at a just distance of 1.5 Km from Porbandar Airport. A nice temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shivling is not round and finished shape but seems to be natural stone and Swayambhu.

This beautiful temple is situated near Ranavav city of Porbandar. The road leading to the temple from Ranavav has just got refurbished. Inside the temple the atmosphere, the peace is really worth a visit.
