Meritevole ma un gradino sotto a quello di Vittorio Veneto in quanto maggiormente descrittivo di ciò che c'era tra la gente che viveva vicino ai campi di battaglia

Il museo e situato vicino al castello in un palazzo del 500. E composto da una decina di sale e vi sono esposti vari cimeli tra cui divise ,armi ,documenti sia italiani che austro-ungarici Molto interessante la ricostruzione di una trincea a grandezza naturale .Al suo interno e ospitato il museo della moda e delle arti applicate. Il museo della Grande Guerra di Gorizia fa parte di uno dei 4 musei presenti nello stesso stabile.
Il museo è molto bello, diversi poster e opere che raffigurano la propaganda del periodo stesso.
Ci sono anche oggetti, cimeli ed abiti dei soldati (anche importanti perchè ci sono le giacche del generale Cadorna e del generale Diaz).
Ho trovato pure interessante anche riproporre in maniera virtuale la vita di alcuni artisti che son dovuti andare al fronte.
Merita assolutamente una visita.
INGRESSO:
- adulti: 7€ (cumulativo dei 4 musei dello stabile)
- ridotto: 3€ (cumulativo dei 4 musei dello stabile)

Un bel museo, abbastanza fornito di cimeli storici, ben strutturato, dove spiccano alcuni pezzi pregiati dono di reduci o donati dai familiari. Da visitare.

Visiting Gorizia for the first time and finding that the castle was closed (and had been for some considerable time it seems!), my friends and I walked back down the hill to this musuem and the Museum of Fashion next door.
The admission charge is very moderate €6 and yopu get an informative leaflet to guide you around. The exhibits are well displayed and lit, and although there are no English descriptions of the exhibits, the leaflet gives you a broad outline of what you are looking at.
There are unfiroms, weapons, an infantry bicycle for the troops to cycle into battle, posters, lots of photographs (some quite moving) and a reconstruction of a trench.

Bel museo sulla prima guerra mondiale, con ricostruzioni delle trincee ed altre situazioni quotidiane dei soldati al fronte. Molto bello anche il museo della moda annesso. Vale la visita senza dubbio.

Bello, come tutta la zona ricorda le battaglie dalla Prima Guerra Mondiale. Reperti degli eserciti italiano e austriaco, divise, armi, volantini di propaganda e lettere dei soldati. Si gira in un'ora, ben tenuto in una splendida location. Ci tornerò sicuramente !

Viaggio tra cimeli storici e particolari narrazioni che fanno un po' rivivere il momento. Penso ne valga proprio la pena. per 6 euro si visita anche quello della moda!

Punto di forza il costo del biglietto, 6 euro intero per museo Grande Guerra + della moda incluso, bimbi non paganti...uno stop è d obbligo. Interessante vedere le foto, leggere le didascalie di un qualcosa che è stato e si speri non si ripeta
