This is an interesting harbour. It is actually a double harbour, with an inner and outer harbour. The harbour is surrounded by cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. A lovely place to spend a few hours.

Lovely harbour. Lots of small shops. Loved the glass shop and fudge kioskPerfect place place to have a leisurely stroll. Well worth a visit

lovey to walk around the harbour - great views, all kept beautifully clean. Very relaxing, was able to spot and watch a cormorant drying its wings on the rocks.

Lovely little bustling harbour town, plenty of galleries, little shops and Cafes, and always something going on in the harbour to people watch such as people crabbing, paddle boarding, jumping off the pier into the harbour etc
There are a couple of pay-and-display car parks, close to the action, although they are not huge, we managed to find a space first time thank goodness !

Have the misfortune to book during the food festival . Because of our location we are unable to use our car for three days. There is a team of jobsworth on your back if you try. So if you don’t this type of event and you want use your car avoid booking at all costs.

This place is great year round, but in the winter it becomes very atmospheric with high seas and high waves blowing in. The waves that crash up and over the harbour are amazing on a windy day.

Excellent scenic harbour, very photogenic with great views of the coast if you walk up the hill path .

With its distinctive harbour walls and clock tower Porthleven has a lovely relaxed feel to it, despite it being a busy October half term week.
There are lots of arts & crafts shops to explore dotted around the harbour area, its well worth a stop off here.

This hotel has everything from the excellent location to the top class food and drink. Above all it has some of the nicest most pleasant staff you could wish to meet.
We were welcomed really nicely by very helpful gentleman. The room was clean and well presented. Dinner in the evening was well cooked. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. Just really delighted at our brief stay. If you are in need of charging point for electric vehicle they are available a gentle 5 - 10 minute walk away.

I loved this place.
Slightly hesitant about going at first as thought there wouldn't be much to do but we were there 2 hours ... and that was out of season.
A lovely little craft market to viisist and in summer I bet the place is buzzing.
One of the nicest harbours we visited in Cornwall and can definitively recommend a walk around the harbour and towards the beaches.
Look out for the new bronze statue of an old man sitting on the turret on the right of the harbour (as you look out to sea) and pop down to see it close up as there's a recording you can listen too
